I hope so - but now the new contract's been signed I have my doubts.

He followed up the big Canberra game after his return last year with an insipid performance and a week off after signing his last deal...

Regardless - Latu on the bench gives us flexible cover for Jarome, Api and Adam and will be a critical part of the 17 against Manly and onwards.

He's not scared of collisions like your old crush Lachlan...

Our old mate Lachlan doesn’t look like he is going to produce his best or be happy as 7 in the Bulldogs structure does he ?
Mitch Woods loves the collision and is a more natural 7, have the Bulldogs made a bad boo-boo ?
Anyway Wests Tigers look like they have plenty of good options in the halves for 2026, that’s all that matters.
Would you persist with To’a at right centre, or would you look to offload and upgrade him ?
If you could add one more forward recruit for us in 2026 who would it be ?

It's not the just raw facts of what happened in the game. Benji (who can't coach apparently) made a great call and his big last minute decision, putting a non starting half, won us the game. AD played a blinder against a top 4 side. That had just poached galvin. Lighten up.

Adam's improved defence made him deserving of this extension, and is a bargain if he stayed for less than the average top 30 salary.

AD has again gone from Right Center where we want him to "playing in the halves". Yes our 5/8 position is more open and AD + Luai seems to be working as a halves pair.

This shows the fragility of Latu Fainu. He has a stack of talent but I don't see a player who can move the team around... Number 14 is Latu's best spot for now and injecting him in makes sense.
One thing for AD is he has that commanding structure. He will want to move the team around and be in control, something Brooks doesn't have. Luai has it, but not every game...

Things start becoming very expensive.. Luai 1m, Latu 500k and possible upgrade, AD could get 600k on the market... were easily over 2m on our halves and I don't think they are worth it.

I never understand why people need to manage the club’s salary cap for them.

Others on here have been saying it for months.
The only culture that matters is work hard, consistently improve and win.
I couldn’t give a shit where they all come from.
