He wouldn't even be a reserve with Wright and Jorgenson way in front of him.Or a World Cup for the Wallabies

If youre late 20s ,have no kids , no real ties to anywhere , and looking to see the world , on the equivalent of 5 mil dollars a year if you were paid that in Aus (2.3m tax free ) for 3-4 years , I mean that’s life changing . Both in experience , and financially .
Is he playing origin ? That ship has sailed as newer shinier toys come off the production line every year . He’s not playing for Aus either . He’s won a premiership, and plenty of individual wards . I say it’s a no brainer . I’d definitely do it .
You can say he’s ruining his legacy , but seriously , RTS never did , Israel Folau never did , Sonny Bill never did . In 10 years his career will be properly evaluated . But plenty of people will scream ban him for life for the next foreseeable future .
Meh .. he can laugh at us whilst he cruises around sipping mojitos on a tube at Atlantis in Dubai .

We did upgrade Will Craig after all
Keon has publicly come out today saying he’ll be testing the open market come November 1st and has also stated he’s a prop moving forward (hoping to attract the same $ as others)
Rabbits cap surely taking an hit after looking at their roster especially after the Fifita addition.
He can play 80mins at prop similar to Terrell. The combination of those two as our starting middles would be scary.
I think with the recent KPP addition on our right edge, all we’re missing is a dominant middle to partner May and he fits that criteria perfectly. I genuinely believe he’d complete our team. Don’t forget the Richo link with South Sydney and having played alongside Benji as well.
My question to fellow forum members is if you’d guarantee Keon’s signature…. would you offer a $1 million a season deal to get it over the line.
My answer….. YES.
Lots of gated communities in SA. Although yea , if all the options that’s by far the worst ….What if he gets drafted to Capetown - that's a real possibility. I guess the mojitos may not be as nice in Cape Flats or Mitchells Plain
Matamua to the Bulldogs.
Be mad not tooKeon Koloamamntatangi testing the open market
pea heartMatamua to the Bulldogs.
Development and player identification will be even more important now moving forward . If the bears , PNG and the yet to be announced but all but guaranteed 2nd NZ team , struggle for multiple years , the draft will be almost a given .Players chasing the dollars. Will hold their clubs to ransom knowing that the Bears and 360 are waiting in the wings. Managing the cap atm for all clubs will really test their mettle.
Theyre welcome.Showed nothing with usMatamua to the Bulldogs.
I don’t think he’ll do a 180 but he’ll definitely do a 360.Re Papenhuyzen
He is no longer an NRL ‘player’ as he isn’t contracted to any club
Wonder if it is a loophole
Now that he isn’t contracted, and is officially distant from the NRL, would the policy announced by NRL still apply to him?
I don’t think it does
Is it just me or does it seem like the Bulldogs have about 50 contracted players and a cap of around $25m? They seem to sign every second player on the market.Matamua to the Bulldogs.
Matamua is a cup contract, doesn’t go towards a salary capIs it just me or does it seem like the Bulldogs have about 50 contracted players and a cap of around $25m? They seem to sign every second player on the market.
I think he has gone past Tino. He should’ve played origin and he carried Souths for a large part of the seasonI would agree with you if 2025 never happened, I think he took a massive leap after his transition to prop. He was running for 200 metres with 30-35 tackles a game consistently.
I’d have him on the same tier as Murray and Carrigan personally.
I think he’s the best prop in the game behind Hass, Tino and Tapine.
If they are at Matamuas level they can have 100 😆Is it just me or does it seem like the Bulldogs have about 50 contracted players and a cap of around $25m? They seem to sign every second player on the market.
