Suzie i am so sorry to find this out and I know from personal experience it is hard to deal with. From the sounds of it you have raised some wonderful kids. We know from personal experiences that there are some people out there who only deal with their own issues and stuff the rest.

Going through this makes us who we are. That's why we will fight this not only for us but for the generations that come after us.

This is not only a football game it's our way of life. I ll be stuffed if I let anyone take that away because of self Interest.

They don't deserve this once great club made from 2 great clubs.

Its our legacy not theirs.

Then little David came and knocked over the giant ! They are in for a suprise in the form of supporters rallying agianst them

Then you have the whole recent powerplay which seems to be for no reason. So in that vaccum of information, people will come to their conclusions. Especially when HBG have acted with dishonesty and backstabbing quite a few times. Even if they said something, I doubt you could trust it.

There in lies the problem. I think if HBG started doing the right thing with the independant board and re-implementing the report, the fans will start to regain some trust that they have the members and club as the priority, not an agenda.

Yeah, they think we are going to forgive and forget, some are even trying to smooth it over.
We need 1000's when we find out what Wests Tigers Unite's strategies are to sign up, HBG will never pull their head in.

They need to know we are going nowhere. We need 1000s your right . I believe we can do it. I believe we can send a united message so loud we can change their course or force the sale.

In all seriousness, how do fans, players , coaching staff etc get excited when the one year we finally showed improvement they blew up the place at years end and made us the laughing stock of the NRL once again. With this mob in charge our future seems like its going to be one of uncertainty, drama and survival. We have become a reality show of Days of our Lives ,one drama after another. ..... Regarding the new CEO, it doesnt matter if hes a good operator or not, hes got a list with strict instructions clearly stating on how to be CEO of Team controlled by HBG. It is why they would never of got any other applicant with a lot of experience in the NRL to apply or show any interest and why Richo had to walk.

I will not renew my membership and I will not be driving from the inner west out to Cambo. I will not be watching away games from HBG HQ at Ashfield. My little protest, but sadly I don’t think the fools know what damage they have done. I would be very surprised if Benji can get them above bottom three after the recent events. Getting a team out of the cellar is a really hard gig, but having a bunch of crack pots running the joint makes it impossible

Benji has a monumental task. How can they assess his performance now as coach?

HBG keep laying spikes on the road but expect him to get to the destination. If he gets us to top 8, hes a miracle worker.

allegedly more memberships for Leichhardt oval than campbletown
hbg will be in for a shock if they ditch leichardt or change to magpies and expect a following in inner west.

There is no Wests Magpies to follow as a second team. There is but for some crazy stupid reason its the name of our reserve grade team. Thats the problem with that argument the same old Balmain/Wests bullsht. Seriously after all these years of having a Wests Tigers team rubbish like this keeps coming up. Wait til schoolies time again next year HBG will have another grenade espiecially if Benji doesnt have a succeesful year, I think with this lot, hes celebrating his extension way to early.Im sure things will really get interesting and considering the path this lot hand you . next years HBG schoolies will be even bigger

Reverting to WSM. Good luck with that. Would go from 400k to 40k supporter base overnight. Would get more people turn up to watch the Coffs Harbour Commets. Plus, HBG would need to pitch in 5-10 mill a year just to keep the FC afloat. Pie in the sky.

I just cannot believe that anyone on planet earth could still be pushing this agenda and thinking it would be a good idea. Too many magic mushrooms tbh.

Except HBG's success rate or history hasn't been what I'm questioning- just what every argument gets turned to.

The argument brushes over one simple FACT- for 12 months HBG DID follow the recommendations.

The narrative on here is that what happened at board level a few weeks ago proves HBG are useless.

My question is, has & will be until we hear an answer- why? Why follow the recommendations at all if only to blow it up later on?

Unlike many however- I'm not as happy just pinning it on HBG being useless. They DID make a claim, which everyone dismisses. The actions of PVL do not back up the group think.

There is more to it. But the loudest voices just keep shouting they 'know' and expect nobody to have an alternative viewpoint, or to simply not accept it.

Honestly I think that's rubbish. (that all this was done just to remove SR).

Clearly Shane was targetted, for Vicious I don't know fairly or Unfairly (I strongly suspect unfairly).

Yet they fired the 4 directors. Barry was the target. If Barry blocked them to Richo then he blocked them to Richo... We can never assume that HBG would imagine the NRL would demand Barry be brought back to the board.

Why?
Jealousy - Denis would be jealous of Barry O.
Attacks on Ctown and keeping the Wests Tigers inner city, (my theory).
Some weird hope to bring the magpies back to the NRL?

Our club is the biggest looser in all this. The only good thing I saw was Luai, Fainu's and co all saying they would stay together.
