Slater much more grubby. It’s a struck match between him & Slater all time in my opinion. Teddy more consistent, Slater a little more brilliant.
Somehow he’s still underrated by many.
If another club has offered to pay his legal fees to remove himself from his contract with the Eels, how does that fit with anti tampering legislation. IIs there an official Zac Lomax thread somewhere I have seen his name everywhere
I just wanted to say with his legal cost if he has to pay it 😭😭😭
Charlie Murray was a real handful. He was good last night.I really liked Bunty's efforts defensively. He pushed across covering the middle with great effect and attitude. His carries were strong. Royce doesn't get close to the top 17 for me. Pole was great off the bench, really happy with how he played. Twal fantastic. May obviously comes back in and Charlie Murray provides a point of difference emoff the bench with leg speed, effort, some ball playing and also hooker coverage which is important. Sione was aggressive in contact and had some good carries. Royce and Seyfarth miss out for me.

He’s gone from pathetic to unpathetic. Approaching good.

Slater imo set the benchmark for fullback play with his chasing of kicks into the in goal from Cronk and his own kick chase game. His combination with Smith, Cronk was one of the best in the NRL. His commentary is imo an extension of his nous as a football strategistTedesco is still the best overall fullback.

Mate I thought he showed signs last year. Coming from nowhere when he got his chance he ran hard and showed some skill. I saw him as a decent depth player. Looks like he may have progressed to one of those unheralded smaller middles other clubs seem to find but we never do. Cheap and full of heart.

Attard, Andrews and Haywood are all locked down, not sure about Madden. Clubs imo will come calling for Madden whose game has matured with his time at the Broncs and also under Marshall. Funny we have these good young halves developing under Marshall.Jack Attard
Javon Andrews
Jock Madden
Jared Heywood
Not to mention the Q cup lads, Hope & Murray, looking to have gone another level.
And the future superstar, Makasini.
The future is bright 🌞
Is left center our problem?I don’t mind the idea of Skelton potentially at right centre.
Would Taylan May be comfortable and just as good at right centre which would allow Makasini to play in his favoured left centre position?
I agree, Billy is the GOAT.Slater imo set the benchmark for fullback play with his chasing of kicks into the in goal from Cronk and his own kick chase game. His combination with Smith, Cronk was one of the best in the NRL. His commentary is imo an extension of his nous as a football strategist
