I think Xerri has every reason to be unhappy.
He played virtually all of last season at left centre and was regularly one of their best and most dangerous players.
The Bulkdogs moved him from his favoured left centre position right centre for no apparent reason, then reportedly told he is being dropped to NSW Cup for round 3 even though he played well in a winning team in their previous game.
Then reports of a dust up it disagreement between he and Crichton at training.
Sounds very much like he is simply not in the clique and we know how that ended for Mahoney and Sexton last season.
Xerri is a very good representative standard centre who would help improve our team particularly with injury concerns for 2 of our centres, but it does sound like he wants to play left centre where we are more needing a right centre.

Xerri spent 4 years out of the game because he tested positive to illegal drugs.

The bulldogs gave him a second chance when no one else did.

He has been dropped to nsw cup for the first time since being at the dogs and hes thrown his toys out of the cot and is carrying on like a spoilt brat.

I dont know how anyone can empahtise with such a sook.

A professional athlete would dig in and try to fight their way back into the team, not cry like a baby and want out of the club.

Not the sort of guy id want in our squad.

Maybe he should have went with the “I’m getting bullied “ approach?
I for one take any statement from Gould as complete dribble, they did the same thing to Mahoney and Sexon last year to get them of their books.
Playing all last year and now getting dropped after 1 game this year sounds very fishy to me.
Only time will tell.

Yeah, cant trust Gus at all. But I heard Xerri was incredibly lucky to be picked for the game in Vegas and that Tuala had been training the house down.

At the end of the day, its good for us if the dogs continue to implode from within.

Burton's days are numbered, so at some point, something will have to give there..

I dont see the "bulldogs dynasty" eventuating as long as gus is there. Too much chopping and changing.

They didn't do anything to Mahoney and Sexton to get them off their books. Their contract was up and they didn't offer another so they weren't on the books to get them off of them.

What are the Eels big names? Moses and? Maybe Paulo is on the back end of a big contract. No-one else I think would be commanding big money.
Yes, I think we have a better side that would be significantly higher paid. Though I would still like to steal a couple of forwards from them.

No he didnt. I was just reading back on it before my previous reply.
In both cases they were told they weren't in the future plans. Sexton tried to earn an extension that was never given. Mahoney only found out mid-season after asking for an extension which wasn't offered. He was then benched leading to him requesting a release.
I guess you could say Mahoney was pushed out to a certain extent but its not like he was treated unfairly given what we see at every other NRL club.

I do feel like there was reporting about it with Bateman going to Cowboys but an AI search can't find any dramas between the 2 so perhaps it was some BS I heard on a podcast or something.

Why bring a know trouble maker he will start white anting people again especially the coach

Everyone in the football department are on the same page no problems



Plus Isaac Moses is his manager why the f(UK bring the cancer closer could you imagine if Toddles spilt the beans about contracts to Moses

Mate could you imagine Toddles first day back his manager Isaac Moses will pack his lunch drop him off and organise to come back in the afternoon to see Toddles to have coffee in the players lounge asking if everyone is ok handing out his telephone number and being a nice guy
