I think we all want to believe that we can kick on and eventually at least make the 8, whilst the 4 would be fantastic.
But we’ve all been beaten around the ears for so long we're a bit nervous in predicting September.
I’m really hoping we can continue to occupy one of the top spots and then finals.

Lookong at the ladder aswell weve beaten 3rd, 4th and 6th. Only loss was to souths in 5th. Weve pretty much already played everyone in the top 8. What a bizarre start to the season.
There is also a sign. I lurk too much. The only non-well known member that commented.

May, well it's in his game. But it's not his forte.
KPP at the knights I think he did maybe 2 offloads. But he was well known for Offloads and dynamic play in Superleague. So no suprises...
Twal -> Surprises!!!
What's even better, they are offloads without giving up possession or fumbling the ball.

This Broncos game should be a solid acid test. Agree that we shouldnt be getting our heads too high, and the media noise is strangely all positives... frightening times because in the past...
Just gotta keep playing hard football and grinding those wins. Plenty to love about what we are all seeing and its a nice change to be wearing a Tigers cap on a run and have the old Manly diehards give you a nod and a smile 😉

For me the real test will be when we play the Storm in Melbourne, for years they have hammered us down there no matter how they are playing at the time.
Forever they have treated us like their whipping boys in this game, if we can beat them, I can feel that the good early form is franked.
It’s weird we struggle to win a few games in a row each season when other fairly nuffy teams like the Cowboys or Manly can do without a problem.

It's seriously OTT the amount of positive stories in the media about the Wests Tigers, every masthead multiple stories every day.
Don't get me wrong, I love it and much prefer it this way than the HBG headlines.
I'm probably exaggerating but I can't remember this type of continuous positive coverage since our finals run in 2005 (and it's only the first 6 rounds of the season).
Part of me thinks the media are building us up waiting for the bubble to burst but I don't think it will ... I think Benji has the squad focused squarely on effort, consistency and playing for eachother and not getting ahead of ourselves with headlines.

In today's Telecrap, there is a double page in the sports section with maybe 6 different articles . . . and 4 pertain to us in one way or another.

Itll all come down to our depth with injuries. We seemed to have recruited really well in that reguard. My worry is now Luai is back in the team with Madden out whos our first receiver. Douhi has been killing it as second receiver, im worried the guys attack is going to go backward. Hope im wrong.

Parramatta
Once that crap starts heating up, the players just seem to go better.
Melbourne Storm have the premiership taken off them because they had two books for the salary cap. Did not stop that team from making the finals.
