Had a great game , was very good for his first step up to NRL , when he went off titans went straight up the middle for 3 tries , not saying it would not happen with him but it stood out straight away , he will be around first grade for more games I’m sure

I hope that Benji has put the red line through Hope and Murray.

Lanyon and Haywood to work with Api on developing their game and work on making the next step to consistent NRL players.

Flegg player of the year last year I think and got a 2 year extension on the back of it. This year and next I’d assume mate (at least)

Defense was good. Needs to work on his pass from Dummy half. A bit slow and loopy at times.

The ball from dummy half in the last 10 minutes was horrendous .....it was either at Luais toes or above his head

Defensively we were run over in the middle when he went off and those holes were plugged again when he returned.
39 tackles with 98 receipts in 57 minutes was a solid debut.
Did well, and showed a lot of promise.

Promising debut that was leaps and bounds better than Hope, and has him in our extended top squad bench each week for mine.

He is normally known for his solid running game but I was surprised at his defense, he was really good in the middle for us. Like others said when he went for a spell there was a noticeable softness in the middle

Keen to see what he can do coming off the bench when Api starts

fitness you reckon? noticed hands on hips and not making it to the play the ball a few times early in his first stint. thought he was solid overall
