Im a big fan of his. He was good tonight, but he was bad last week.

His stint here will he judged end of next year. So far its been fairly middling. Some of the criticism is deserved some is way over the top.
 
Abusing Tigers fans....great captain. That last tru was obvious his disdain for his criticism for Tigers faithful. Some will argue it was directed at media, but that carryon was obvious to me

Id say it was directed at all the pathetic "supporters" who threaten, insult and abuse him. Plus the media who have hammered him through the week.

Dont take it personally unless you are one of the above.

You are talking out your ass. The keith barnes stand include the families of players. So he was telling his teammates families to stfu was he? Or you can mind read and know he was talking to you and 'the tigers faithful' even though he was looking at the Keith barnes stand?

When we were losing, he was being an awesome captain and signaled to the hill to fire the fans up on multiple occasions.

He scored two tries prior to the incident and was reving the fans up in his post try celebrations.

But when he puts the nail in the coffin and is clearly on camera - its directed at you?

Did you even watch the post match interview where he thanked the fans? Or the post on wests tigers socials?

You are normally balanced, but not on this one, as he has been far from diabolical. Same as earlier in the season when most everyone was rightly waxing lyrical about Doueihi, yet an objective appraisal would see Jarome as having matched him footy wise. Dollar wise on field, that is certainly arguable.

WT supposedly offered him $1.2m odd a season and he accepted it with conditions, which isn't his fault. PNG obviously see the value that he has brought to our club, and decided that they wanted some of it too. Good luck to him, as he has already served most of his purpose at WT.

They were all diabolical last week - look at the stats 36% possession behind possibly the worst performance of pack that I can recall for an age against a Penrith side close to full strength. In the game against the Bulldogs his contribution in D was significant in saving Sitelli T from scoring and possibly winning the game on more than one occasion. He will never earn what he is being paid and if you are focused on that, he will never meet expectation. He is a polarizing character but the coach who knows best backs him and this game showed why.

He scored and was facing the Keith Barnes stand, put his finger to his mouth and said stfu twice. I didnt see him running around abusing the hill or grand stands. Is everything a player says on the field addressed at their own fans is it? Or is it likely it was directed to haters EVERYWHERE?

Edit - you are right, he was telling you to stfu. I agree with his message to you. Take his advice.
