Regardless of your views on whether it is the right decision, it is absolutely piss poor from AD. It shows a fair bit of the character of a person that he thinks he is too good to do what the coach feels is best for the team. He would be more than aware of the hurt this would cause the club in a number of ways.

JL has only acted with class in every response over the last 3 weeks. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to release Adam if he requests it now as we have cut ties with JL and would not have the halves depth.
 
Benji is out of his depth. This just highlights the fact that no one respects him and they're happy to tell him to his face. So glad the club extended Benji after everyone was chasing him.. 4 years straight he'll have missed the finals with an even worse squad next year.

Take into account we have a board overseeing all final decisions on player and coach contracts and you have a complete and utter basket case of a club. Business as usual

What reason would Luai have to act any other way?
 
This resembles the exact way he plays for himself and selfish, how many times have I watched him hog the ball and not pass or create for his outside backs.
Latu and Javon are our future AD is a 14 he can plug lots of holes but unfortunately, he has always considered himself to play the halves.

Team first but this shows his true character Perth awaits you AD.
 
Having AD just leave now might be a problem as all NRL contracts value is completely guaranteed and he is signed till 2029. Not sure a team will take him full freight knowing he might not be wanted at all by the coach/club.
If he is to not play again for the team, there’s now just 21 players (not including development players) signed for next year.
 
Only we could win at the judiciary and get a 2 match ban down to a fine only to tell said player oh btw we aren’t playing you this week instead we will keep the guy who pissed off our boom rookie with a team first mindset only to walk out the next year.

AD has his faults and clearly an ego but Benji has handled this situation poorly. Benching AD when he would have been better at centre, lock or kept in the halves (over the guy leaving) is beyond stupid! I don’t think the Wests Tigers will ever not be a joke this is just hilariously embarrassing
