Regardless of what transpired today, in this modern time when an employee asks for time off - management has no other response but to grant it. The most troubling issue is how the whole story with official quotes and specific details was so neatly presented for the leeg world to digest and pick apart and mock. So very disappointing, from all angles.

Because he’s a bog average halfback. You could die of old age waiting for him to pass the ball.

He only would have got a look in for NSW as a utility, which he apparently doesn’t want to be so he wouldn’t have played anyway.

This is dead set Glen Morrison/ Ben Teo level and I honestly can’t believe anyone could stick up for him.

I'm not sure of the processes at the club or any first grade club but is this how Bennett would have handled the situation, tell someone on the Thursday they are playing out of position?

Did AD know early in the week? If not, he should have?

Do you think it might have something to do with his arm grabbing defence against more nimble payers of the last month and the regular shooting out of the line, slipping over and leaking points like a sieve? In the middle corridor he does does not have to make decsions to jam, the players aren't beating him with a shift of pace or a big step. I guess the coaching staff wanted him playing as a third half to spark our attack and AD is too thick to understand the reality of the situation.
