Pat Richards was also at the meeting.
I reckon there’s been something brewing since December 25. We wouldn’t see 7 players considering to explore their options, if the coach was sacked, unless there was a real chance of that happening.
But rather than getting sacked he was given a very good extension.
Doueihi was also given a new contract from March this year.
Could the source of the friction be coming from the usual places? Our HBG board and a certain player manager?

Why would Benji again select the player who is not a halfback in that position, and especially so when Adam took his ball home last week when he finally cut his losses by moving him?

Any other player that supports what Doueihi did can play for Magpies in KOE too.

Should rip the Benji band-aid off now as well. If he's sacked part way through next season it's just one more drama.
 
I don’t know how any professional sporting club allows a player back in after sitting out a game when fit. The only explanation I have is his contract is attractive for a good half and they see a swap to a Sydney based club as being the best option which will happen in the offseason.

I don’t get it the season is done since the manly game this only does more damage. Must admit we provide good theatre. If they turn it around with AD in the team or put I would be shocked.

“(The Daily Telegraph) has been told that those at the meeting – Doueihi, his agent Isaac Moses, head coach Benji Marshall, club CEO Shaun Mielekamp and head of football Pat Richards – agreed that Doueihi would defuse the situation by returning to training on Tuesday and playing out the rest of the season at Wests Tigers.

“After the season ends, Moses could seek to have Doueihi’s future re-evaluated.”

Well, all's quiet on the Wests Tigers Front. However, the alarm bells must surely be ringing given that, of all people, Moses was in the room. I mean, according to Dooeee, he isn't his manager, so what gave him the right to be in attendance at a private in-house meeting? He can't be there to discuss the pros and cons of football position selection, nor should he have any reason to be there for player welfare (Player's Union job or his Mum perhaps?). All I can think is that it was an attempt at intimidation. This smells of an implied threat by Moses that little lists, like Lachie's infamous secret dossier, are likely being waved around. But it does make sense if he was there to discuss an early release for next year and his attendance was there as a consultant for AD to start the negotiations for his exit. Hope so.

Just had a listen to Kents podcast. I thought he gave another side to the story that blew me away..If any of this is true (he is not aligned to anyone as far as i know.) Benji has a lot to answer for. There is too much to type out but if half of what he said is true, my god we are such an inept club we are beyond hope on all levels. I have never been a massive fan of Benji as coach and after listening to what he lets happen at training and letting certain people can get away with in the club is scary. We are so unprofessional and Benjis big statement on the doco is worthless. Yes i may have changed my opinion and all may not be true but from the leaks we here in the media, we have a hell of a long way to dig ourselves out of this complete mess that the club has created.

Last week Kent was saying this was a Moses-Douehi play to get him outta the club.
