Agreed. His two year tenure will be another unfortunate chapter in the clubs history…
I’ll say though that a lot of people defended his form until he decided to pull the pin…he was always the same player here over the two years …one good game out of 8,,,
Including Benji !Agreed.
Some people saw it from that first game v Newcastle in 25 but most didn’t until he went to PNG.
He had a lot of people inside this club and out completely fooled.
Haha I just posted the same thing in the coach benji thread 😂😂
He was here less than 12 months and the club self imploded. Really cant blame him for taking a better option.
Yeah I remember thinking in the first half of season 2025 when was the magic was going to happen. There were glimpses but I don’t think we ever got what was on the label. His two year tenure will be another unfortunate chapter in the clubs history…

Good bye , enjoy your retirement package coz I don’t think you’ve got much left to give either Parra or the Chiefs.
If you are referring to the social media post, thats pretty soft for a group of rugby league players. So what else happened? Anything of actual note?Definitely wasn’t the story at the time.
tear up our share of 600k for next yearWhy, what are we gonna do, tear up his contract?
The cost of moving him on with minimum of fuss. Imagine the circus if he was with us next season with all the PNG stuff increasing. Parras problem now.tear up our share of 600k for next year
He was a permanent fixture in a key position in the best team of the modern era of course Benji is going to play him - he was always the best option despite form. It was also the right decision to move him on next season.Including Benji !
It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't show up.As long as he doesn’t do anything controversial on Mad Monday.
I’m saying that him bullying Galvin was not the story. The story was Galvin was a spoiled brat. But now Luai is a villain, it’s not a surprise that history is being re-written.If you are referring to the social media post, thats pretty soft for a group of rugby league players. I feel the same way until he left for png it’s seemed like his care factor went away a lot over that time and when he had in injury early and we won all those games without himI don’t have the same hatred for Luai as a lot of others. Came to the wooden spooners prove himself when guys like Cooper Cronk would never consider challenging himself at a lower club.
He wasn’t able to be Batman, but he gave it a crack. Today showed we don’t need him and by leaving we are saved from a salary cap mess.
I’m glad he’s leaving but no hard feelings from me.
All jokes and negativity aside, it did take some balls to have a press conference to announce he’s leaving the best team in maybe 30 years to join the back to back wooden spooners. He’s setting himself up to be a walking meme.
Three cost us the season.Cost us our season, good bye

Wasn't it mentioned on here that next year is only 200/300 from front loading applied this year.Don't celebrate him leaving yet ...we still have 500 k of him on the books in 2027
