i looked on a few Castleford forums 2day , its all very hush hush.
Seems Cas churn thru more coaches then us
Hard to compare since I don’t really know anything about him. However I was disappointed in Morris’ tenure with us, I thought he would’ve brought more since he had some coaching experience already. Hopefully the new bloke will bring more to the table for us, i guess time will tell.
Maybe we could send over HBG to run Castleford to provide "stability",they need not return as i am sure we could struggle by without them.
Who signs off on this appointment mate is it the HBG Board ?

I heard Carr is very direct when talking to his players. Sometimes the direct way could get players & staff offside if it’s done with a touch of intimidation or gets personal. He has a very good reputation as an assistant so I am happy to have him here. I just hope any baggage won’t impact him moving forward

Its definitely what we need a bit of tough love, I know things and players are different these days and some fragile egos need to be managed delicatley...but as long as everyones on board and on the same page ...they buy in
His defence on an edge thus far in his career has me thinking his future may be in the middle.
Yeh agree, stange one, perhaps benji was a handbrake or maybe Morris is not a defensive coach?

Not sure what everyone thinks of him but Sloan, there was chatter he went to castleford for him, and has been wanting out after he got the sack

i know he has defensive issues, but gee he with Averillo and May in the outside backs, really gives us a new dimension.
we are doing a fine job struggling with them - why not ,i like your idea
