    OFFICIAL Jeral Skelton #294

I agree his injuries are a worry. Maybe between he and To’a we can get the majority of a season between them.

Yes the overall 1-7 is not up to the required standard. Have a look at the tries conceded yesterday, mostly out wide. In saying that it was Glassie’s first game of the season, he showed glimpses of his ability and he’s highly aggressive, he has plenty of upside. Josh Vella is playing a year up...

    OFFICIAL Jeral Skelton #294

Jeral is off contract at the end of this season, I’d say either use him or lose him. I think he’s too good to lose, we need to use him. Whether we think he deserves it or not, Turuva is not being left out of our NRL line up, so o think we need to at least try a right hand side of Skelton and...

LIVE game discussion. Tigers Team Vs Penrith - Trial#2

Very good summary. I’m a big fan of them both, but I think Doueihi’s running threat is too important to be left out. I appreciate what Luai brings to us in way of his leadership and competitiveness, but do we really lose that much if he misses a game and we have a halves combination of Jock at...

The Eels are a low club, I hope Lomax plays for Melbourne and scores 4 tries against them.

If he continues on his current trajectory 700k will be a bargain.

They should not be letting any Ron Massey Cup team score any tries against them. Max Taotua is a beast who is an attacking weapon, but needs plenty of work on his defence. I hope our coaching staff are working hard with he and his brother, particularly on their effort areas as they can both...

    OFFICIAL Harold Matthews Cup

I like the look of the tall blonde right second rower, he is the goal kicker I think ? He got whacked and dropped a ball yesterday, but he is very willing, looks to have good mobility for a bigger lad and I think he shows plenty of potential. Plenty of the forwards go after contact and although...

@balmain boy i understand your disappointment and I’m sure everyone involved would be disappointed, but I watched the majority of all 4 games and I saw at least a couple of players in each team really shine and show quality despite the scoreboard. I will do a more in depth review of the players...

The chances are he will command more than that if he continues to show what he’s shown during our 2 trial games.

Thanks BWG I haven’t watched it yet, but based on your comments it’s pretty much what you would expect. This is the problem with Saukuru, he’s an absolute wrecking ball with plenty of size and speed, but is very inconsistent and doesn’t assert his dominance near as much as what he should. I do...

LIVE game discussion. Tigers Team Vs Penrith - Trial#2

He is just about the strongest ball runner of any middle forward in the game 23y.o or under. I reckon he sometimes doubts himself, but once he matures and really backs himself he will become one of the best middles in the NRL. I’d be moving heaven and earth to keep him long term.

Seyfarth is every bit as good as Twal and I’m a Twal fan. Twal gets the jump on him with his seniority, loyalty and better discipline and rightly so, but we lose virtually nothing if Seyfarth is on the field as a replacement for Twal.

    OFFICIAL SG Ball Cup

When he played Harold Matthews it looked like he had a bit of explosive speed to assist with his raw aggression which made me think he could develop into a Briton Nikora style of player. I’m not seeing that explosive speed off the mark over the past 12months, but he looks extremely fit...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Is that a bad thing ? I’d much rather that than players who let opponents intimidate them. As I posted last night I’m still not sure if I would include Seyfarth in our top 19 for round 2, but that’s not to say he will not contribute very well off the bench as a middle forward for us if selected...

    Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

He can’t be left out, he brings needed x-factor to our backline and is a once in a generation talent ready to unleash. Anyone who watches plenty of the lower grades knew of his ability 3 years ago when he was a 15y.o playing Harold Matthews, but it has shocked me how well he has taken to NRL so...

    OFFICIAL SG Ball Cup

Wests Magpies SG Ball very disappointing. They started strong and looked on top for a good portion of the 1st half and early in the 2nd half, but had no answer to the Rabbitohs high energy ball running up the middle and were constantly stripped for numbers our wide because of it. A couple of...

    Jahream Bula #269

That’s what makes the decision on how much he is worth so much harder as he is such a good person and a great ambassador for the club, Never the less he needs to lift his urgency on the field to live up to his big price tag.

    Jahream Bula #269

Jack Attard looks decent enough young fullback prospect as does Logan Brookes. I don’t think Attard is a realistic NRL option just yet, but when discussing Bula and contingency plans we could realistically spend around 1 million dollars per season on a replacement if required, so for that money...

    OFFICIAL SG Ball Cup

Wouldn’t it be better for Balmain junior reps to play their home games at Concord Oval ? Not only could the young players be in awe of the facilities that could sway the better players to want to stay loyal to Wests Tigers as they move through the grades, but it could also be a selling point to...
