Very crisp with his passing game, probably best I’ve seen in the club this season from any 9. Obviously needs to be seen whether he can deliver in firsts but one way to find out

I thought Haywood was great as well. Thought he struggled last time I saw him in Reggie’s but was very good in this game .

No- what he brings to the team is try assists by his ball play. He needs to be 6 with a 7 inside him squaring up the play as Latu has done well when they’ve played together . Wasted any other spot

Agree with all that but think Mason may actually improve by finding a new club or having a couple seasons in Super league. I think ultimately he is a NRL quality player. Hes definitely too good for reserve grade .
