I don't agree. He is not a hooker and shouldn't be played there. He is a head and shoulders better footballer than Madden. Go and look at the game that Latu played in state cup a couple of weeks back at five eight against Manly his class was on show , Granted Manly wasn't strong but he just took them a part.

There's a pretty big difference between consistent NRL footy and taking apart the team running dead last in reggies.

Really disappointed Latu isn’t given a crack. I understand Jock is seemingly rated higher by Benji but he & Masi defending next to each other is given me anxiety. Plenty on here think playing the Dragons is 2 points banked, I am not so confident. They have an outstanding pack. They know we are wounded & out of form so they will be pumped. Twal back is massive for us & I think Api will be filthy on his poor game last week & will have a big one. But I have a really bad feeling (last weeks performance could be clouding my judgement) Geez I hope I am wrong

Absolutely not. They are competing every week and have just been unlucky. They really lack polish in their spine which is why they haven’t won more games. They’ll be a different beast next year with a new spine, and throwing Koalamatangi into an already stacked pack.

Latu continuing to be excluded is a real head scratcher. You could argue that he provides better cover in multiple positions than Jock, however with Josese able to cover 9 and 13 and an extended bench you could carry both Jock and Josese on the bench along with Centre/winger cover and the rest forwards. Could it be some machiavellian plan by Benji to get Latu to commit for unders before he shows his stuff and increases his contract value? i doubt it, however since he played the full 80 in KOE and played well, it also eliminates the fitness excuse. Maybe its Benji not wanting to pair AD with a less dominant halves partner, however why wouldn't you have given Latu the gig with Luai when AD was injured.....as i said, a real head scratcher,

Spot on , I mentioned this in my post dragons just not finishing off a bit like us 10/20 out and no idea how to attack close in , can attack from back further like us , this game if we start poor could be a dragon big win of the year , we need 101% defence and effort and 81 minutes full on no drop offs ,

Would be great as they did play very well in those wins , this game is 100% winnable but we can’t take them as easy , we need to turn them around all game , kick to corners , try some grabbers if wet , bombs but bombs need to be moved around we tend to bomb to the same spot and then just defend as most times nobody is down there , use AD and his size close in , API to do more sneaky runs , and I feel Tony S will again be solid on our edge he seems to have that determination in his efforts , when Sam and KPP are back Tony is first pick on the bench for me he has earned that so far , tigers by 12

That’s incredibly short for a team with our form/ line up vs an improving outfit at home. I watched the Dragons game
V Canberra and really could have gone either way.
I hope we can win but I’m not 1.50 confident !
PS Let’s hope Star does another job on Holmes, maybe Benji should pull that Cowboys tape out for him to watch.

My point about the reserve grade comment was that it is the first game in either grade that we have seen Latu in his correct position. it wasn't so much about the fact that he was way to good for a weak Manly team but more about his skill set on display. I would be a lot more confident against St George if Latu was running out there with the 6 on his back than Madden.

Makasini will have a big game against Feagai
Api will not have a worse game than he did against newcastle.
Turuva back on the wing is where he should be
