    Pat Richards

Jamie Lyon has been a class centre all his life. Pat Richards will be a manufactured centre, i think he has mainly played wing and fullback.

I left off Blake Ferguson and Garreth Widdop

    Pat Richards

Pat Richards would be well down the list of the "best back line players in the world". I could name 50 players who are better than him. He is not a centre, he is a winger who can play fullback. Changing a winger into a centre late in their career is not as easy as changing the number on his back.

    Pommie Forward pack at WC

I love these broad statements written as though they are facts. Firstly, Polynesians and Melanesians do not absolutley hate each other going back centuries. As with all cultures, going back over time there was times of war and times of peace. There is no broad based hatred between say Fijians...

    Toka Likiliki

i just realised that he is signed until the end of next year with the Knights. Apologies!

    Toka Likiliki

I am pretty sure he is off contract next year. He is massive, plays big minutes and is a genuine big prop, not a converted backrower. I have watched him a few times this year in the Jim Beam Cup and he has been solid, with great footwork and pace (played wing for the warriors under 20's!)...

    Understanding Team Selection

NSW also have two additional utilities already in Bird and Lewis who cover more positions than McQueen. I reckon Woods or Grant would of been a better option

Centre of excellence hopes for Macarthur

Folau and his family left Minto as a teenager and relocated to QLD, so you can't really count him but you can the following high class long term first graders who are currently playing- Jarryd Hayne (Minto) Frank Pritchard (Claymore Boy), Ryan Hoffman (St Gregs), Anthony and Mark Minichello...

Anyone due back after the bye?

I don't think Lawrence's loss of pace and lateral movement in defence is temporary - unless this returns he will never be the player he was.

Is this goodbye Utai and Tuqiri

IMO, it leaves Pat Richards as a mistake in relation to recruitment - I wouldn't want to see Koro or Nofo discarded to make way for Richards.

    The Essential 8

After watching last nights game how could you not include Sauaso Sue? He has a good mixture of effort and agression and besides he is a Mac Fields boy!

Is this goodbye Utai and Tuqiri

Jennings has been strong defensively all year, Morris is also a noted defender. Ferguson is learning how to play centre in the NRL and if picked for SOO will be on the wing. I just don't think it is that easy to play centre late in your career when it is not your position. I think Lawrence will...

Is this goodbye Utai and Tuqiri

What experience does he have as a centre? I always thought he was a specialist winger, who could fill in as a fullback when needed. An NRL standard centre needs to be at a certain standard defensively.

Is this goodbye Utai and Tuqiri

I don't see the benefit of the Pat Richards Recruitment. His form in ESL doesn't translate to the NRL. Fringe first graders like Rangi Chase have been regarded as the best player in the competition. Was he a gun winger 7 years ago - yes. Are Nofo and Koro the future - yes.

    Teddy ,shades of Hodgo

He is a rookie with heaps of promise and ability. He may go on and become a Wests Tigers legend or go through a rough patch and disappear, who knows. But supporters will and should always look at the young blood coming through and have opinions and high hopes that they fulfil their promise. To...

    Sue

He has stong agression in his play. I remember a few weeks ago and a player dived on the ball and all he had to do was put a hand on him but Sue tried to bury him into the ground.
