Following on from the thread I started 7 weeks ago at the 1/4 mark.

I was wayyyy too optimistic.

I could defend sheens, I could defend potter, on some points I can defend Taylor. I've always considered myself a positive poster, but im almost speechless.

Absolute rubbish over the last few weeks. I could scratch around, find a few positives, defend the coach, defend the players, the board …. Whoever. But that's all I feel I've done for one decade now. Stuff em. We are heartless, irrespective of the coach, the squad, the board, there is something seriously wrong with the passion and desire shown by those who represent our organisation. It isn't worth talking about tactics, defence, kicking, attack. WE HAVE NEVER HAD A SIDE THAT IS BOTH DOGGED AND INTELLIGENT FOR MORE THAN A GAME OR TWO IN A ROW. NEVER.

Can't think of a single six week period in our history that I've been more disgusted with. I don't care if Balmain and the Maggies suffered worse. I don't support them anymore. I've bought memberships, jerseys, flags, beanies, scarfs, polos etc.... That say Wests Tigers.

I can't believe I'm writing the thread, it really isn't my style to be so non constructive. But I hope if I ever let down the people who invest time and money in me to the extent that I feel let down by these "pros" that I get turfed from whatever role I'm in.

I'll keep watching, booing the refs, sledging the opponents etc... Because it is something to do for a few hours away from work. However, that really makes me an idiot, not a "true fan". I respect the choice anyone makes to walk away and hope I can do the same if this continues.

I probably overreacted last night. 2002 and 3 were pretty bad. Still, even this morning I feel there is less to be proud about than at any point since 2004.

I know you can find worse games, and statistically you could find much worse efforts than the last few weeks. However, I'm not frustrated JUST by the last few weeks. It is the cumulative effect of being a supporter of this club that has personally led me to feel this way, not the isolated case of a few bad games in any one season.

I know I'm only one win away from withdrawing my statements from this thread, but sometimes you look at a situation as glass half full and then suddenly have an epiphany that the people you've disagreed with for years ate actually right.

Spot on Tiger Dave. We need a couple of centres now. Taylor may not be a great coach but boy , he is way short of quality players and that is not his fault.There were at least a half dozen of the 18 last night who are only average NSW Cup players.Bellamy or Robinson would struggle to win games with the current roster

1/2 season gone but might as well write the full season off.

Was listening to the ABC call (as the game was delayed to QLD) and even they mentioned tigers were playing drills rehearsed in training instead of playing what was in front of them.

Proves one thing : JT is no Master Coach
Hope for our sake things can be turned around.

razor, u are 100% right most coachs could do little with are rooster, its they way that JT has them playing that is killing the fans. there kids with great talent we have seen bits and pieces so let them do it more often rather than handcuff them, JT needs to be a coach NOT a coach out of some book, JT take the collar of the boys and see them go, bet the defence will improve as well.

I think that this is the worse period that I can remember. We are just not playing with any sort of passion or potential for improvement. Our coach also appears completely useless.

Last night was a lot better but it was still poor.

We do though need to improve our squad. Its obvious for instance that having slow outside backs is going to do two things:-

1\. Make it easy to run around us out wide.
2\. We will have limited options in attack.

We need to get rid of Richards and add have Simona and Nofo fit and firing. Then we will have a decent backline and have a chance to go well.
