OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

One thing yesterdays game shows us, is that if you want to be a top 4 or top 8 team you need at least one of these beasts in your team, also from Tonga and Australia.

Does Terral or Pole qualify? Probably not.

I think Terrell and Pole have the potential, Terrell needs to play fewer minutes

Hass is the 2020's version of Woods.
Does plenty of Quality work but doesn't scare anyone.

If we could sign any prop in the game to the Club, Haas wouldn't be my first choice.
Fisher Harris and Tapine are up top, Hass would be toward the back of the next few.
In the 2025 NRL season, Payne Haas had 3,996 total running metres and averaged 166 running metres per game, making him the leading forward in average metres per game. Terrell's numbers are similar he's an elite forward too.

Different players though- might have similar run metres and playing minutes but Haas has much more impact on a game. I’d trade 10-15 playing minutes of May’s for more aggression and tackle busting runs from him.

Kiwi pack held them and even beat them.
yea, which is a crazy good effort on their part.

Sure, NAS, Fischer-harris, Isaiah Paps... Still to hold back what are arguably two of the best props in the game being Papalii and Haas is a massive effort.

Also Tino is apparently eligible for Samoa. He turned down to play for Australia.

When you talk about Haas being robotic then Terrell must also be included, whilst his output is significant he still lacks a true tackle breaking toughness and a scare factor. Hopefully he works on that for 26+.

TDM is quantity over quality.
Good for our bench rotation his.long minutes but weve all seen him tire drastically late in games...but this has been talked about ad nauseam
