Reddy 1
Humble 7
Moltzen 14
Then we look a lot better.

All in all though not too dissappointed tonight. Forwards were good again, esp BMM

Agree, Moltzen was flat tonight…What about Blair in the forwards, how do you rate him, defensively?

Not enough mongrel from Blair and molten taking no heat off of Marshall…. Disappointing

At this stage that selection will get you a top 4 ..Moltzen at 1/2 we will struggle to finish in the top 4 .

Actually a mate just reminded me of Miller.
1 Reddy
7 Miller
14 Humble/ Moltzen

It won't happen though.

Blair seems to be focussing on attack/ offloads and neglecting defence.

I'm not gonna lie the boys put in alot more then what I thought they would. I think if lote isn't back we will see reddy on the left wing. Nothing wrong with moltz tonight we lost because we fell asleep for 10 mins not because of structure

I thought Moltzen was good but when Humble ran with the ball in that last 10-15 mins, he looked great and showed the ability to find a gap out wide.

If Moltzen is going anywhere it is straight into fullback and rightly so. He was superb late last year. Putting him at halfback ahead of Miller was clearly only to fit the insanely talented James Tedesco into the lineup in his favoured position. Humble and Reddy do not have the right to claim that position with Tim Moltzen looking lost at halfback. Moltzen to fullback and Miller or Humble to halves, preferably Miller.

Yes that is what a true 1/2 does shows ability to find a gap not just pass the ball to the player next to you!.

put it this way ..utai is a park footballer at best , humble has 7 games to his name . reddy has what 8 or so years in first grade and the others get picked before him .i know who id pick out of the 3 .

Id have Moltz at fullback. He's playing tougher these days and i think its his spot. He aint a halfback at all.

watch the ball bouncing off the crossbar in the sharks game again and what he does :frowning:

Gotta give Moltzen more time at HB. Lui had 2 years.

I remember the uproar last year when Sheens didn't pick him there. Its only round 2, don't be so Fickle!

1\. Moltz - defence was outstanding. Attack was rubbish. He only took the line one a few times an when he did he looked dangerous
7\. Miller - had a blinder today. A genuine number 7\. Has a big future. Needs to be there now not in round 14.

Thats my 2c worth.

BMM great game. Impressed with his effort tonight. Ran hard. Tackled hard.

When the game was on the line tonight Tim wanted the ball and ran hard and looked deadly. That shows his quality. He just has no place in the halves with Benji and Farah calling the shots the way they do. I think Farah should downplay his hand a bit more in future. He is predictable and inconsistent with his decision making. Keep your tricks for surprise attacks, you aren't the halfback.
