2010 Four Nations

I think Farah at his best is better than Cam Smith at his best. I think Lawrence is better than Tate, and I think Carney should be in the 17 somewhere, probably on the interchange instead of Gidley. Still a very good team though.

Smith deserves to keep his spot in the Australian Team. Maybe when Robbie gets a chance at Origin again, he might make some dents into Cameron as being the best Hooker in the country. The 9,8,6 & 1 were never in any doubt about losing their jumpers.

Tate is a right Centre so comparing him to Chris is somewhat pointless, but he and Gidley are lucky to make this team probably ahead of Boyd and Carney…

So, am I reading this right. Tuqiri will play Left Wing outside Tonga and Morris will shift to the Right outside Tate?

Problem for Robbie is that he has performed very badly in his rep games so far….

Cam Smith is A proven Representative star.

Also Robbie seems to me to be perceived as a Hooker and thats it...

Coach Sheens likes his combos so I'm still hoping he has Lote and Lawrence on their side for the PNG game.

PS why is Willie Tonga there anyway…. He has had an average season

Willie Tonga had an Average Season or Willie Tonga's Team had an Average Season?

I think Willie played well this year. Possibly his second best year in the NRL. But more importantly, apparently Tonga was the stand-out performer in the PM's XIII against the Kumuls 4 weeks ago…

One bad game should see Boyd or Lawrence get a run!

Hey Tiger Watto. I was wondering how long it would take you to come to the rescue of your precious Queenslander Cam Smith. 😛 LOL

I understand Cam Smith is a really good player in the NRL and also in rep teams and it would be the QLD 1,6,7,9 (Cronk instead of Thurston which had happened before) but I would like to see Farah get a game before the final incase Cam Smith does get injured. The game against PNG should probably be the game Robbie gets a run. Tonga has played right centre before and Lawrence left centre because I think he hits harder than Tate in defense and has more size for attack and is definately as quick as Tate and he is used to playing inside Lote.

Anyway I'll be in the ROO KREW Bay Row 3 with some mates and my Aussie flag. My prediction Aust 40 PNG 10.

You keep flying your Wests/Prichard Flag brother, and I'll keep cheering for the real champions of Rugby League

if queensland were real champions they wouldnt need non queenslanders to play for them :stuck_out_tongue:

Our team has no chance now James Graham has been given the arm band, utter joke. There is not a player in England who does not get into a mood as much as him. I would have given it Ellis as he has had the experiance in the past.

Australia and NZ play each other in the third week of preliminary games, making it possible for the game to be a dead rubber. Both of them could have beaten both England and PNG, making both those teams 0-2 and Australia and NZ 2-0.

The NZ vs Australia game should be the curtain raiser, because it would be vitally important for both of them. The loser would know that they need to win their next two games to qualify for the final. Whoever came up with that schedule is an imbecile.

Part 1 is complete. Anyone prepared to say either PNG or England will win next week and actually make the Australia-NZ game mean something?

It Always means something… I will be backing the underdog and for 80 mins be "UnAustralian"

It'll be a dead rubber if Australia and NZ both win next weekend. Therefore, it won't mean anything. It won't matter who wins because they'll be playing each other the following week in the final, which is the game that will actually mean something. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves.
