2011 Trials

I can confirm that the Parramatta trial venue is not confirmed, and is not going to be Bluetongue Stadium Gosford. The stadium was unable to secure any trials.

The mail I have (which as I said IS NOT confirmed) - is that it may be played at Campbelltown. This happened two or three years ago as well from memory.

That would be awesome! Is this the same Timmah from the League Unlimited forums?

i REMEMBER THAT pARRA TRIAL at Cambo, about 04 it was and we played like busteds, was a terrible display….was when we had that charity cup thing going with them that lasted all of one or two years

we should have more trials at campbelltown and leichhardt. there's no reason why the foundation cup has to be @ the sfs every year.

Probably a very good reason that being the contract we have with SFS/SCG trust

Seeing as we do fan days/open trainings there in the FC week its viewed as our home too, I think the gate goes to charity or juniors or something

As I recall Parra kicked a penalty to win. Awful game…

ah ok. didnt realise the contract included the foundation cup.

I'll be going over to Brothers to see the 2011 West Tigers in action against the Cowboys.Hot up here at the moment though, and hopefully the big rains will stop.I suppose the WT big names won't play, still its good to see WT in action.A work friend is also going (he is a heavy Brothers supporter) and also a Balmain Tiger man and WT supporter, but has been known to give me some knowing I'm a West Magpies supporter, good fun though. We are sitting together proberly have a few coldies.Looking fordward to this….

Im not 100% on that but you'd have to think it would be included….

I read in the telegraph this morning that the Eels trial was at Campbelltown. Hoping to get there as I am OS for the season opener against the Bulldogs.

Correct, it's now at Campbelltown, time to be confirmed however.

Nice up that way - I frequent Booker Bay and Etta quite often.

Trials cant come quick enough for me.

Yeah it is. I'm in Umina so I get down to Ettalong quite often. I was looking forward to the Gosford trial.

Yoss- there are a huge number of Tigers supporters on the Coast - but from all reports you only have the administration of Blue Tongue to blame for depriving you local residents of this game!!

The fact that no Sydney club is trialling there due to basic logistics (catering & security) is a blight on the area - and should prove a major stumbling block to the touted return of the Bears!
