2 seasons in a row Glory dudded by a horrible penalty call.
Smeltz should have put the game to bed minutes earlier but really, that call…and the subsequent red card...just horrible.
Alistair Edwards was all class in the post match conference. Can't say the same about Postecoglu.

Anything other than a Wanderers v Mariners GF would be a travesty. Clearly the best two teams all season.

Sorry Glen ,but I don't concur with your last comment , its all about peaking at the right time

Will Wanderers play the GF at Parramatta or move it to ANZ?

It will be at the SFS/Allianz. Parramatta doesn't have the desired capacity and there is a concert at ANZ.

Do you think they could sell out ANZ yet?

No, but they'll certainly sell out Allianz. I think we're a decade off seeing the Melbourne Victory and Wanderers being the two largest football code franchises in Australia. I'm a Sydney FC man through and through, but it is great to see the Wanderers be embraced by the community.

Yeah Allianz should be sold out should the Wanderers host the final. Parramatta sold out and quick smart and a few people lost out.

And I agree about the Wanderers possibly being the biggest football franchise. The only probably is Western Sydney has a lot of followers who will only follow when they're winning.

That's a Sydney mentality, FC have always had the same problem. 34,500 in our first game, was struggling for a third of that by end of the year.

Melbournites will always support their team, particularly actively. One thing that they have over us.

wrong wrong wrong, possibly have not been to watch a game yet …. western sydney should have had a team when the A-league first started. the western and south western areas of sydney is the heart of oz football. the rbb are dyed in the wool supporters and when the wanderers win this years a-league all those supporters will stay with the rbb. A-league, because it is a summer sport mainly played at night virtually has no competition. cricket ( too costly to watch over paid jokers ) ?? basketball ?? parra eels ?? panthers ?? gws ?? all of them should be very worried about the new kids on the block. who do we sing for !!

I'm not in the middle of the RBB, but I always stand amongst it and every week there are new faces amongst us. And every week after we march its a struggle to get seats where we regularly stand because people are going ahead of the march and wanting to experience the atmosphere without creating it. And try singing in it; chances are the people around you don't know any words until there is a "Who do we sing for" chant. The wheels on the bandwagon are very oily indeed. The last few weeks have been ridiculous and there is no chance that a lot of these same fans will be turning up had the team had a season like Sydney FC.

sataris*

The machine just keeps rolling on …

Barca not as dominant as they used to be,

Real are the only defensive team left. (never thought i'd say that)

Barca vs Bayern should be an aboslute ripper of a tie. Not too excited by Dortmund vs Real, we already saw them play in the group stage. Hoping for an all German final, but I am expecting Real vs Bayern.

Takes quite a bit of commitment to save a penalty with your face

Up the mighty Wanderers. Will be up at 9 to get tickets tomorrow.
Disappointing crowd on the Central Coast. Just over 10,000 to a semifinal.
