(Un)Interesting Fact: 'Ham' is an Anglo-Norse word meaning village. West Village sounds rather progressive and bohemian (al la Manhattan's West Village), ironic given the nature of the area in question.

Makes a ham and cheese sandwich sound classier too! I'll have a village and brie on rye thanks!

At least I had a reason for picking West Ham United

I love it when Man U fans bag other fans You go ahead and buy the premiership year in, year out What skill is involved in that ??

Who said that all Man United supporters follow them because they are always on top? Bozza was first goal keeper at United at the time I really got into football, that's why I follow United.

CB in that case you should be a WHU supporter

We had both Robbie Slater and Stan Lazaridis playing for us at the approximate same time that Bosnich was at Man U

Kewell at Leeds Utd as well a bit later on

Wouldn't you prefer to be a Hammers supporter with a HUGE chip on your shoulder

I followed Liverpool from when I was 6 or 7\. I was living at Ashcroft at the time and thought that it was the local Liverpool team and thought that I had better support the local team. Didnt realise until I was about 9 or 10 years old that there was a Liverpool in the UK and that it was their team. By then I was already hooked!

My Grandfather supported West Ham when he lived in England and told me all the wonderful stories about Upton Park and I was hooked

Unfortunately some others in my family have been lured to the dark side …. My father is a Man U fan , due to Busby's Babes and all that .

By following United, I'm following West Ham by proxy, aren't I?

Sammy McIlroy is my mother's cousin. He played 342 games for them between 71 and 82\. I only caught the tail end of his ManU career but watching his games got me interested in football as a young boy and subsequently ManU.

Well Sydney FC are good at scoring 2 goals but lousy and keeping them out at the other end. Tonight it was Brisbane 4 Del Pierro 2

So for the last 3 weeks it's been
2-7
2-3
2-4

And Brisbane Roar off the bottom of the table should make that last beer before bedtime especially nice for you Happy.

Haven't watched the game, God I can't wait until Vidic gets back.

We've leaked like a sieve since he got injured early last season.
