Did anyone else make the trip up to Gosford to watch the mighty Wanderers beat the Mariners?

It was such an awesome trip! Drank for 4 hours at the pub before the march and got all cheery. Hahaha. The march itself was not like the Central Coast have seen, that's for sure!! There was maybe 3000 or 4000 people marching the backstreet to Gosford. Unfortunately a girl had a seizure so we missed out on the big "Who do we sing for" pre-match chant. She is okay now though and hopefully we'll see her come this weekend.

The match itself wasn't the greatest quality. The Wanderers were on the poor side and the Central Coast were pushing. Only scramble defense and Covic kept us in the game. Haliti worked a play off Bridge and we got the winner. The crowd was awesome! Sung and chanted the whole game. My arms were sore after waving a flag for the best part of 90 minutes and my voice was gone.

The celebrations outside the gates after the march are something I'll never forget. A good march back to the pub rounded out an awesome trip. Best $150 spent on the day and will take those memories to the grave with me.

So good, didn't expect so many of us Wanderers to head up there for the game, especially in that weather. Awesome game, although I want to know who's idea it was for Matt Ryan to take the penalty. That arrogance has potentially cost the Mariners the premiers plate, not that I care. The goal during the poznan was sick.

As for the Man U/West Ham game, I think it has been rescheduled because the FA Cup quarter finals are on this weekend.

You've got to love ESPN Gamecast commentary:

"Nani is high and clumsy but he's watching the ball and that is in no way a red card. Nani can't believe it and this game might well have been significantly altered by an utterly incompetent Turkish referee."

Did the ref get out alive?

watched the wanderers again today and gotta say that everything about them is exceptional. from the rbb singing and chanting along church st up to the stadium, kids swapping there old footballs for new wandrerers footballs for free, to the atmosphere inside is imo second to none of any sporting code in sydney. it really is quite amazing to be at their matches. the game against sydney fc in two weeks should be absolutely awesome.

Man U aren't making their season any easier with an extra game after 2-2 draw overnight

Obviously just trying to avoid the Hammers :unamused:

It's all good Happy, when we win our 65 million pound bid to bring Ronaldo home we'll have a few more class players to rotate.

And thats what surprises me CB , you are an intelligent person and you still support Man U

Come live life on the wildside and support the Hammers

Doesn't it get boring knowing your club will finish Top 3 in the EPL , buy every footballer on the planet and look at Sir Fergie every week

Thats why being a Hammers supporter is so much fun Most season half your team is out injured (bar when you are back in the Championship), you could get relegated ,probably won't finish Top 10,coach probably won't last 3 seasons And just think wouldn't it be nice to watch your team in a brand new stadium next season 😛ray:

The Hammers are far closer to the Tigers than Man U will ever be (That'll be the clincher for sure  )

Don't I technically support the Hammers through United?

No you don't support West Ham :crazy

You just rob and pillage the Hammers

Don't worry the FA will see the errors of their ways and make English teams field at least 6 of their home grown every match

for any tigers supporters that enjoy following the wanderers the clip below is pretty good.

It was an awesome experience being in the RBB when that 19th minute came. A few of the boys have mentioned the almost hollow feeling at a league game after being in the RBB on a Wanderers forum I go onto. I'm hoping I don't get that feeling too.

Wow… Just finished watching Everton v Man City and that has got to be one of the most gutsy efforts I've seen.

That goalkeeper was phenomenal... Every clearing kick got away and to add insult to injury they scored in injury time with only ten men on the paddock.

The Day of Reckoning has been decided 18/4/2013

The Day that David slays Goliath

West Ham Defeats Man U

I'm forever blowing bubbles …....

Had a fair goal denied too for offside. Osman's goal will be a goal of the year candidate. Probably one of our best performances in a while, especially considering we had our first choice keeper (Howard) and star centre back (Jagielka) out for the game.
