Bayern and Guardiola for 3 years

Force to be reckoned with!!

Very exciting for Bayern München fans.

Even more exciting for the rest of the football world to see if he can replicate Barca's success elsewhere.

I'm exited to watch him turn Kroos and Schweinsteiger into Xavi/Iniesta or if he'll ship Robben off

or if he'll let Kroos play more advanced (which is where he should play)

I have waited a very long time to see Sydney FC put in a performance like they did last night. The Phoenix were poor but had plenty of opportunities to score. I think the stats at half time were something like Sydney had 8 shots on target for 5 goals, and the Phoenix had something like 14 on target for no result.

ADP was total class and now he has a decent striker in Griffiths and a fully fit Culina to work with we are starting to see the rewards. If they beat the Tards next week and Newcastle lose, they will move into fifth spot.

Huge night in the cup, Liverpool out to Oldham, Spurs out to Leeds, Chelsea held by Brentford. This follows QPR getting slaughtered by MK Dons and Luton beating Norwich.

12 point lead with 12 games to go.
Man U make it a joy to get up at 3am.

Unlike the Hammers , who you race home from work to watch them play , watch them control probably 55 of the first 75 minutes and not score a single goal then give away 2 penalties in four minutes :brick:

I think the Hammers players should take their wives and girlfriends to away games

About the only way they will score ….....

Surely your frustrations are nothing compared to those being experienced by Liverpool fans right now HT.
25 shots on goal to WBA's 5 and they lose 2-0\. After Gerrard had the chance to put them up 1-0 with a penalty. What an abysmal season it has been.

Frustrated because we have dropped points against all three teams currently in relegation

Annoyed as we keep losing left backs

Back to full strength , did well during the trade season and can't score goals I think we are sitting 18th for for goals

I'm still concerned we aren't fully out of the relegation battle , and we should be , well and truly

Two cracking Champions League games at 6.45am on Thursday, Man U v Real Madrid on ESPN & Shaktar Donetsk v Borussia Dortmund on ESPN2\. I'll be iQ'ing Man U.

We were fortunate to get a draw. The way Real Madrid started they should have iced the game in the first 20 minutes, instead we took the lead. 28 - 13 corners in favour of RM, hard to hold out that much firerpower. Fergie's reaction at the end spoke volumes, he was very happy to leave an even terms.

hahahha I love how you guys are so into this pussy 'sport' I have tried to get into it but end up asleep in minutes…..This is well and truly the worst team sport available.

I know, I know each to their own but fair dinkum....you are all RL supporters - how do you find one ounce of redeeming quality from this dribble? To me soccer is the sport that the mummy's boys who are not alllowed to get hurt by their overbearing parents play.

It is breathtakingly dreadful. It is disgracefully boring. It is embarrassing. It is nothing but a bunch of poofs puncing around kicking a ball.

My 2 cents...had to be said. This is a rugby league forum and I hate soccer with a passion. I thought you guys had more mettle in you.....

In all honesty, I really dont have the words to express how ignorant this post is. I use to say that same thing about the NFL but when I gave it a chance and finally understood the dynamics of the game and how the game is played, I freaking love watching the NFL now. I really don't understand why you had to make this post but now that you did, you have left yourself open for some harsh responses. Perhaps it's something you were fishing for. In saying that, whatever criticism comes your way, it's well deserved.

Meh, a comment I've heard before and will most likely hear a thousand times again.

People often hate what they don't understand.

Ironic then that your forum name is "stryker"

There's also a cricket thread on here, do we assume you feel the same about that mate?

My 2 cents is that the post I have quoted is extremely juvenile. This is a rugby league forum but you have found your way into a thread which is clearly about another sport only to attack it. Why? Just stay out of it.
You obviously don't understand what those who play the game enjoy about it. That's fine. Why there was a need to attack it and call it a "pussy 'sport'" I do not know. You then called every player a "poof" which offends not only soccer players but those of a homosexual nature too. Why say those things? I'm just trying to understand a thought process here. You must be trolling for a response in which you have got in this case.
I have always played soccer and always supported the Tigers. Pull your head in and don't go throwing those comments around. It doesn't make you cool. It just makes you ignorant.
