I think all the C'town jibes have just about run their course. We hear all the time people saying that they don't care about Wests and Balmain, they care about WT. Well C'town are one of our homes so embrace it. All this baiting of certain members to bite is childish

After the 35 pages about how Campbelltown is being snubbed you're objecting to less than half a page of light hearted banter?

Its spam, off topic and baiting.
Leave it for one thread - if you must, eh?

I do when its baiting. Say what you want about the other thread, agree or disgree you can't argue that its just based on passion, not baitng. The moment someone bites here, rest assured they'll be made to look like the bad guy. Lets just concentrate on the trials

I remember pretty clearly last years Cambo trial against parra….they looked great as they did in all their trials, we looked ordinary....compare that to the season proper and it really gives a true reflection on what trial match **_results_** are worth.

Miller stood out though once he came on....it was like ''whos this kid playing like a **real** half, havent seen that for years here''

I agree re baiting. I was more talking about the couple of posts I saw the previous page which was just very light banter in amongst a proper post. I didn't see some of the other ones. I think given it is the off season you guys could lighten up a touch but yes I agree sometimes it is a bit too openly trolling.

Can,t believe they are playing Foundation cup at C/Town.I normally make a night of it at SFS.I will just have to look forward to the Bluetongue game .We seem to be caving in to the pressure of the old Magpie brigade are putting on the Wests Tigers officials.

That's not the case at all. Grow up.

What? Can't find your way to Campbletown?

You must be a Kool-aid drinker.

What a stupid post.

BOHOO BOOHOO :bawling. Was soo looking forward to the foundation cup being at Leichhardt. At my small stature I find the seating at Campbo very cramped. Would hate to be 5'3" or taller.

Living in the Illawarra, Im thinking about going to the trial against Wests Illawarra. I know the top line players wont be playing but what do others think about which players we will see in this game. Im hoping to see the likes of Grant, Chisolm, Miller and Humble etc.

I think that its a great move by the club to move the Foundation Cup to Cambo. While I personally find the SFS much more accessible and 'user friendly'; in the current environment with all the paper talk about the AFL's push into western Sydney, it makes perfect sense to move a PRE SEASON match out west to give the local kids an extra chance to see their team in action.

You've got to be joking Tigergirlz,
I've been to most stadiums and found the seats to be similar at most of them.
I weigh 105kgs and 5'9'' and never had any problems at CSS compared to anywhere else
Maybe more with the width as to the height. :frowning:
Ive only been to Leichhardt a few times ( and i must admit its been a while ) and found the concrete steps quite uncomfortable and cramped.
Things must have changed since I was last there.
This year I've got the Ultimate package and looking foward to the big luxurious seats at LO.
Can't wait to check them out…!

Really Tigergirlz, it ain't that bad.

Let's not rehash the venue debate… For whatever reason (it may be a simple matter of Leichhardt not being available or Campbelltown becoming available) the club has moved the game out west. It's a trial game... Anyone let's worry about the game and what Sheens' strategies/selections are going to be.

I will be trying to get there as well Benji#6.
It should be an interesting game to watch.
I'm expecting to see all those guys you mentioned get a run, plus all the fringe first graders.I'd image it will be played in 4 quarters.
Last year against Parra, i think we just about sent out a fresh team every quarter as did Parra. Might be a bit different this year against a group 6 rep side thou.

After a Long off season Campbelltown sounds good ! So does the Balmain side contain the Weststigers players ? as we will attend the 3 grades if not definatly 2,roll on 2012 the year of the Tigers.

It's the main state cup team so it will have the WT players not needed for the NRL trial. I'm guessing some guys will appear for half a game for Balmain and then get some game time in the NRL. Sheens usually named 17 players and then adds more on the night doesn't he?

Should be an interesting and exciting night seeing a lot of guys go round for us for the first time.

Looking forward to getting my tickets to the Foundation Cup on Monday - got my membership too now so its all starting to feel close!
