This awards night is a joke.

Smith won best hooker, captain and rep player…..does he pay them for votes?

Luke and Friend were the best 2 hookers all year and Parker and Fifita were by far the best rep players.

To top it off, cordner just beat sbw for 2nd rower of the year.

I think it's disgraceful that they've interviewed Smith 4 times but just dumped Tuivasa - Sheck and Parkers trophies on their table.

Russell Crowe is just embarrassing as well.

They don't disqualify him, but they make him lose points… So without the suspension he probably would've won.

Because there was several halves and 5/8s in contention for the major award, giving them both out earlier would've given away the winner.

The night was a bit shambolic, it seems that some players aren't even worth speaking to, yet GI gets a long speech. The entertainment was laughable. Whoever thought Squires would make a good host should be shot. Thank god Crowe had some kind of charisma at the end, I wouldn't be surprised if they told him to go up there are read the votes 5 minutes before he headed up.
