POSITIVES

* Outstanding selection of strength and conditioning staff
* Improved the sides points differencial with competitive efforts
* Playing Lawrence in the back row
* Bringing on Cherrington
* Decent enough Team Selection with little depth, didnt play players out of position ala Sheens

NEGATIVES

* Trying to adapt a different clubs style of play entirely
* Banning Richards kick offs
* Shackling Moses and Farah
* Playing one out football against Cows and Newcastle which killed the teams season in its tracks
* Ringing up a Radio Station to defend himself
* Hurling you know what on previous coaches and players at the club
* Terrible handling of Robbie Farah situation
* Saying winning is not important, performances are
* Saying the scoreboard is not important
* Some dubious favourites like Lovett
* Continuing to refer to previous years poor defensive efforts and lack of success

Positives:
# tapping Farah on the shoulder and telling him to leave

Negatives
# everything else.

I want to see how the lads go next year without Farah, I'm just curious to see how well the team develops in the offseason but I'll dare to say at bear minimum we will need to be pushing for a finals berth or we will be in the market for a new coach.

There have been some positives from JT. Moving on Richards and even Galloway I think are also good decisions.

The game plans/tactics that he tried to get us to use showed someone with no idea.

The two big questions are will he learn from this year and will he have the respect of the players.

Positives for me aside from Eddies
* Bringing Kevin into the side
* Moses toughness and then once he was able to play his style the glimpse this 20yr kid showed us, he would have learnt a huge amount this year which will only serve us better in the years to come.
* Moving on the veterans who where great for us over the last 10yrs
* Halatau had a 2nd lease of life
* lack of injuries
* major sponsor
* defensive structure improvements
* way the kids kept their heads up all season unlike years gone by
* Teddy and how he stood up for us
\
\
Negatives
* kicking game
* Lodge
* playing Buch and Lovett
* Farah and how it has been managed
* we avoided the wooden spoon by F/A despite our defensive improvements
* Brooks 2nd year syndrome
* Tapau minutes

You seriously list that as a positive for Jason Taylor?

Fair enough comment. The ball is now entirely in Taylor's court now and if he has not learnt from his many 2015 mistakes he will be on ground very much more shakier than when he last met David Fa'alogo. I hope he spends all his time prior to pre-season training on studying on how to be a better coach.

I agree ringing up to defend himself showed that he has a fairly thin skin. But the fact he's remained silent and kept the Farah stuff, at least from his end in house has been a positive. The S/C has been his biggest accomplishment.

positives for taylor- he's still there and will be next year

negatives
his lack of media skills and public relations management

Positives:
Form of Tedesco and use in passing game.
Switch of Lawrence to the back row.
Injury management.

Negatives:
Poor use of bench cost us games earlier in the year taking off Taupau, Galloway and Woods at once.
Poor player selections i.e.: Lovett, Milone, Hoeter. Leichardt game against Penrith Lovett in the centres cost us the game.
Excuse making and wooden demeanour in front of the media.
Regression of players not named Tedesco, Lawrence and Moses.
Bad game plans 5 hit ups and a mid field bomb.
Poor handling of Farah situation.
Shockingly bad win loss record.

Yes lol. Surely he will learn. Surely he will review the year and learn from it…maybe.

He will be a much better coach in 2016 and beyond.

That isn't saying much. He needs massive improvement. Lets hope that happens.

I think the main reason Taylor is baged on her is becausebof his structures and he is very stubborn with those structures. It's safe to Taylor didnt have the team to play those structures this year. I do agree with Taylor that there does need to be some structure. We could not continue to give guys like Moses a free licence to play what he sees because inadvertently it breeds that caulture of attack over defence.

If Taylor doesn't do anymore recruiting for next year he will have to find a balance between his structure and the players available to him. Otherwise I think kimmorley will be in the job the second half of the year if results do not approve.

Taylor has risked his reputation for this club. Fixing our slary cap and dropping guys like farah are not easy decisions and in his view for the greater good of the club.

Biggest positive for me is that we did not just drop out of the end of the season, like we often do. We struggled in the middle and that was our undoing, but 2014 was diabolical the way we just gave up the final 10 rounds. That means fans at least have something to look forward to in 2016, because we didn't finish with our worst performances.

Other positive is that if Farah goes, we will have culled the team of essentially all the old players and most of the old culture. This is a true clean-out, if Rowdy is really the only bloke remaining from pre-2010\. 2016 will tell us whether an old-fashioned clean out really gets results.

Biggest negative was that we were at times an outstanding team, and I couldn't really put my finger on why that happened, when we were so ordinary for most of the season. 20 minutes per game and 8 games in 24 is not enough good football to trouble the Top 8.

Personally I am not judging JT too harshly, we've endured some tragic seasons in our time and this is not really the worst. For every argument about "should have done better because injuries weren't a concern", there is the counter that this is mostly quite a young and inexperienced team, with little depth.

It still surprises me that so many people make excuses for Potter based on his two seasons, but Taylor doesn't appear to get the same leeway after only 12 months. I'm going to reserve judgement until at least mid season 2016.

Negatives: Taylor himself.
Leading us To equal Last place…..well done.
Not doing what he stridently said he would do.......Improve our defence. We are still soft as jelly.
for rewriting the Book Of Excuses
For persisting with Lovett in the team.
For no indications that he is or ever will be, a first grade Coach.

Positives for Him
Brought better injury treatment to the club,
His main positive is that he probably won't be here past the first half of next year
( hopefully even earlier)

An excellent balanced assessment…On the team selection front you pick out 1 player...the other 16 must have been awesome..

Thanks for the praise , lol. the first two were probably enough anyway
The first two were probably enough, all the reasons for and against have been fairly well covered anyway ot much point to go into it in any more depth,
Won't change anything.
