Negatives: Taylor himself.
Leading us To equal Last place…..well done.
Not doing what he stridently said he would do.......Improve our defence. We are still soft as jelly.
for rewriting the Book Of Excuses
For persisting with Lovett in the team.
For no indications that he is or ever will be, a first grade Coach.

Positives for Him
Brought better injury treatment to the club,
His main positive is that he probably won't be here past the first half of next year
( hopefully even earlier)

1\. We were one field goal of 11th
2\. The defence did improve by over 10% from previous years two years and was 7th best year all time Wests Tigers.
3\. He didn't blame refs etc and was pretty open that we weren't good enough etc.
4\. Lovett missed 21 tackles and made 663\. Second only to Farah.
5\. Sure, he's got work to do but for now I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Didn't see that he was bashing Farah in that post.

You my friend just have an agenda.

Farah has been stamped already "Best before 2016"

You don't bash club legends. They move on but will always be fondly remembered.

Taylor s biggest positive is finishing what Potter started. Clearing out the roster.
Now he has to turn the onfield results around.

Positives….Being single minded and determined to do things his own way.

Negatives....Being single minded and determined to do things his own way.

True Snake, but Taylor may have been giving Robbie a fair opportunity to see if he could be a suitable member of the team going forward.

Taylor is a complete waste of space.
And yet some of you want to give him another year.
I'd hate to see the damage that he could do to an already dysfunctional club , in another Season

A waste of space that for some reason Farah is fighting for the right to continue to be coached by him.

This is spin at its finest. Farah doesn't want to be coached by Taylor. He wants to play for the Tigers.

Except he's already endorsed JT as coach.

Wrong GCT - I don't want to give Taylor year.

I want to give him another two years. That is what the contract says.

When the pendulum starts to swing against you as a coach, the only way to bring it back is through wins.
Mary did it with Saints. He was under the pump and doesn't have the greatest roster.
JT has a couple of Positives. However with something like 8 wins and 16 loses… It's going to be a hard job to sell the "Positives".
That last loss against Saints wasn't a great way to end the season for JT.

This. I have accepted JT is going to be coach next year but if our losses are half of our wins at mid-season he needs to be punted. Still think he is a vastly inept coach with no idea.

I think Taylor is really trying hard to change the culture at the club and in doing so is getting a lot of people offside, but his brief is not to be popular,it's all about producing a hard nosed competive football team. Time will tell if he is the man, but at least he is trying and he has a contract for another two years so Iam happy for him to see out his contract, barring a horrendous year in 2016,but I would be surprised if we do not make some real improvement next year

Nice troll.

I think its okay if he stays and I think its okay to state that he is trying. I also think anyone stating that he has been anything but a dud this year is obviously delusional.

He needs a fairly massive overhaul to his approach. The game plans that killed the team. The handling of Robbie. Now Taupau supposedly wanting to leave. You could handle one of these things occurring but not all of them. It obviously been an extremely poorly managed squad.

I think some things that JT has done have been good. I think Robbie needed to be tapped on the shoulder. It just should have been handled a lot better. I think that moving on Galloway was probably a good idea. Moving Lawrence to the backrow was also a good idea. I think keeping Moses and Brooks in the halves is a good decision.

The problem is that I have absolutely no faith in JT to get our team playing together and winning games. I don't understand how anyone can have any faith in him as well simply based on his performances. He has to be on notice and the club has to be looking at other options. He needs massive improvement to be offered another contract.

I think he's putting all his eggs in one basket and counting on us being in the market for some big names going into 2017, and providing he gets them, the club can make some ground in 2017\. He probably knows deep down next yr is already a write off. If by some chance we still aren't in a decent enough position to throw some cash around at the end of the yr, then he'll just be another Mick Potter, hands tied, never getting the team he wants and eventually fed to the wolves. I don't deny he hasn't contributed to his downfall so far with his 5 tackle, bomb strategy, and if he was to continue with it for the next 2 yrs, then the club can well and truly run him out on a rail, but the salary cap is something he's never been able to control. He inherited a mess in that regard, and i'm sure even the most die in the wool JT hater would even acknowledge that. No coach should ever be judged fully until he gets the team he wants, and so far, 12 months in, he clearly hasn't had it as yet.

POSITIVES
He has managed to con half the people on here and, more importantly the board, to wait until 2017 to start to see any results. Until then only a little effort matters - winning doesn't.
Moving Lawrence to second row - albeit too late.
Bringing in better strength and conditioning team

NEGATIVES
Terrible game plans.
Not utilising players natural strengths into the 'structure'
The 'structure'
Trying to create a winning culture by losing - and getting rid of people who hate losing
Not accepting anything is his fault
No man management skills
No media skills
No idea- full stop

I seriously hope that with some of the talent we have that the team can win despite him.
