Get a good laugh when many bag this side considering 80% of these players are Regular first graders or have played 1st grade says a lot about the NRL side !

Its the balance of the side thats a laugh, not the calibre of each player. To have just 2 genuine outside backs is a disgrace, a joke and down right a piss take. And those 2 backs in Heleta and Naqaima are not that quick. Rankin and Hunt can play wide but both came through the ranks as halves.

At least 2 forwards should be replaced in favour of 2 young outside backs, dont care if they 20's players, just get some sort of speed outwide happening. Its completely unfair tp expect MCK, Lovett and Rankin to cover these areas in such a format.

I think you will find that Marsters and Chee Kam could play centre if needed.

I don't mind the squad. I'm looking forward to seeing some of these guys play. Probably good to have some guys hungry for an opportunity. I'm just upset Fitzy didn't get a recall.

I wouldn't be surprised if we win it with this squad. Taylor gave me the impression he was going to run out Ron Massey cup players and then pulls out 10 regular first graders and a bunch of fringe players. Justin Hunt is tailor made for nines and if the NRL was always nines he'd play for Australia. They will do very well.

That squad is better than I expected, though as others have pointed out, it seems very light on outside backs.

I have heard that there is big wraps on Eisenhuth according to a current player and is expected to make his NRL debut this year.. So will be watching him closely.

Is this the same Eisenhuth who is related to Paul Gallen and used to play for Parra's lower grades? If so, he is already what 24/25 and yet to play first grade??

Im not sure if u read my entire post but thats the point im making, its unfair on those players to be filling in outwide in a format like this. Someone like Marsters and Lovett would be eaten alive outwide in 9 aside. MCK may handle it ok, but we should have some young fit speedsters there.

Win it?? Who in this squad is going to score all the tries?

Just sharing what I have been told mate

Not a lot of speed in that squad. We'll need to find a replacement for Lovett too.

Fair enough, I was just wondering if he is actually that same player - Eisenhuth isn't a real common name, perhaps he will be a late bloomer
