If Nathan Cleary is the answer to either the NSW or Wests Tigers half back problem then I'm a bad judge. The only thing I can remember him doing in 3 SOO games is that sideline tackle in game 2\. Tonight DCE played all over him. He is a fair defender and is a good link but he doesn't have one iota of attacking flair in my view.

When you have less that 30% of the ball for a long period and be targeted in defense and cover the amount of ground he does in a game, he was fine.

Sims is lucky to stay on the field after that. Weird and dumb play

Yeah, so, so stupid and you could see the immediate change on Qld faces that it was the invitation that they had been waiting for.

Beg to differ, he was less than fine. I think he's a little better than Brooks but not much. I would not be paying him double what Brooks is on to come to WT. The father and son reunion can happen after Ivan decides to move on.

Nothing like a good NRL fairy tale. All warm fuzzy and cliche filled. Thanks Todd, very special and contrived.

Agree

Good defender but bog average with the ball .
Both Penrith and NSW would of been screwed without Maloney .
Cleary ain’t worth the coin he’s expected to receive in his next contract … no way !

DCE had the luxury of having the ball for 70% of the first half and running at a team in the second half that had made 100 extra tackles before half time.
NSW obviously wanted Maloney to play as the dominant half … a little strange I thought.

Agree, not feeling it for the bucks we are talking.

Cook, Maloney, Cordner, Frizell all better prospects for player of the series than bloody Slater. Honestly they'll do anything to take the gloss off us winning it.

Same. Trying to be fair but he did nothing. What's more he took no chances and didn't try to win anything. Just filled a role.

We have those players already.

Same old same old Klemmer, Maloney, Cordner etc can't get it done at Lang Park.

Thought Peachey was not used early enough

I think Klemmers trip when we were in possesion and scored was even dumber…cost the game
