2018 Record Membership

Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that the club has reached 19,000 Members for the 2018 season. The current total of 19,002 Members is a new record for the club after 18,074 supporters committed to the club last year. Wests Tigers are now pushing towards 20,000 Members for 2018 with a range packages to suit all budgets still available. Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe thanked the 19,002 Members who had joined the club so far this year.

"On behalf of everyone at Wests Tigers I'd like to thank our Members for their continual support of the club," said Pascoe. "It's great for us to be able to have another record breaking year and we look forward to seeing our Members at games and events throughout the rest of the season. "Our Membership base is incredibly important for the club and they have a real positive impact on our playing group," he said. "The players feed off their support and energy at games and I'm sure that will continue over the coming rounds.

At the halfway point of the 2018 season a Wests Tigers Membership still provides great value for money, with prices recently reduced to reflect the remaining games. To become a Member and help the club in its quest to reach 20,000 Members in 2018

WSS? Que?

the ye old Cumberland Oval next to Parra Leagues..

Oh, the new Parra stadium. Ugh, Sydney Tigers all over again.

Only if that's how you look at it

Agree 100%, playing at the new WSS is a positive. This is a chance for the club to become the team of Western Sydney, we have the name so let's push to be the club that represents the West. Parra and Penrith can keep their little enclaves, we will have the rest.

Tigers doing great things in the community, makes you proud to be a member/supporter.

This is from WT web site.

In partnership with Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) and WestConnex, Wests Tigers are proud to have launched the club's first Autism Friendly Room at ANZ Stadium, providing a controlled space for children on the autism spectrum.

The Autism Friendly Room provided a controlled space for children on the autism spectrum, and their parents and carers, to experience an NRL game — something they may not have been able to do otherwise.

Wests Tigers provided the first of those opportunities at the Easter Monday game at ANZ Stadium, with an Autism Friendly Room made available for Aspect students and their families. The room was also available at the Bulldogs game and will be present for all remaining Wests Tigers home games at the venue.
Aspect is Australia's largest service provider for people on the autism spectrum, with their specialised, evidence informed schools program the largest in the world.

Aspect also provide additional services that include information and advice, diagnostic assessments, behaviour support, parent and family support, and adult programs.

Wests Tigers would like to thank proud community partner WestConnex for their continued support of the club's community programs and in particular, the Autism Friendly Rooms.

Would be nice if we would bed down somewhere but obviously it's not going to happen. LO is archaic for the modern game, and for whatever reason CSS isn't a permanent solution either.

Moving to someone else's home ground isn't the answer, must be getting some good inducements or something ala ANZ.

Don't think I want to go anywhere near Parramatta.

The club has already started to soften up the supporter base for the move to Parra. Cleary's comments about wanting a real home ground were the first steps in the campaign to have us playing at least 6 games at WSS, possibly as early as next year. I actually expect we maybe looking at 10 games at the venue in near future.

Same with me, transport from the Southwest to Parra on weekends is terrible. Will mean I don't attend as often as I do now.

So what about the inner west West’s supporters that travelled to Campbelltown for over a decade and I might say before the motor way…. HARDEN UP ! if you are a passionate supporter you will travel anywhere in the metro area. I wish all the games would be at ANZ as it is EASY for us ,but I believe playing at WSS will be the catalyst that cements our club for the future ...let’s face facts travelling to Parramatta for anyone will not be easy ..is ANYWHERE in Sydney on a weekend!

I have a beer or 2 at the ground so won't drive. Inner west to Campbelltown is either a drive or get to the station and then trains. The city is easy, ANZ is 2 trains, Parramatta is 3 trains and plenty of standing on stations waiting for connections. I work in Parramatta and do the commute 5 days a week. It is bad enough with the peak timetable but 10 times worse on the weekend. Thursday & Friday night games I can go straight from work.

Does not surprise me that this is being considered. You only have to look at current scheduling and entertainment to see the NRL don't care about live crowds, they are happy enough for people to stay at home and watch. It helps build the ratings and therefore the income from television rights deals.

Hey I’ve got an idea. Let’s play all games inside Fox studios. Referees can be called directors and reserves can be called extras. We only need a crowd of 20 - jammed in nice and tight for multiple camera shots. Games can be prerecorded with multiple endings played out. Then the NRL can easily choose who they want to win. No more stadium nonsense and no more fans . This should delight the NRL because this is what the useless dicks want!!

The NRL want clubs to move to stadiums to increase crowd numbers. It may not work, but that's their motivation.

With three grounds all over Sydney I guess everyone finds at least one or two difficult to get to…. As snake said anywhere in Sydney's difficult to get to nowadays.
Suck it up

Need to get the government on board to build a 200,000 seat stadium, cause the ones that hold 40,000 and 80,000 aren't attracting enough people.

But moving to WSS will get us out of an 80k seater to a 30k seater.
