If Maguire is the odd man out, I’m sure he wouldn’t see that as the end of the world. It’s not like he’s unemployed. He’ll get another chance at NRL level soon. Probably Parra. I reckon Arthur will be sacked some time in 2019.

This is an absolute fiasco no matter what happens.

Really? I find it quite a bit of fun for off season interest in my team and NRL stuff generally.
But that’s just me!

I dont think we can say Maguire dug himself a hole. Bennett was suggested as our first choice, Seibold as Broncos even thought they interviewed but do we know for sure that we offered Maguire the position? How do we know he was prioritising anything?

If he misses out he'd be wise to knock on the Eels door come round 6.

We basically told Maguire we are here for you if you want (yes we were hoping for Bennett) but the job was yours if you came to us but he chose to go on with the broncos interviews and prioritised the broncos job and ours as next in line.
