2021 Membership

I rolled over membership of 4 from 2020 so no hat or merchandise for me apparently which is fair enough

The hat (or should I say cap), for me, is a definite improvement on the 2020 version. I like it.

G'day @mike...I didnt roll over and had no intention of doing so if Robbie Farah had anything to do with Our Club, in particular as an Ambassador.
I hadn't heard anything re that so sent my $$$ in for renewal and received my pack today.
I reckon the cap and scarf are really cool, but I would have been wrapped if the pack had a '2021 member' car sticker included. However I have Wests Tigers number plates on my car and have had for about 10 years. I may be able to purchase a sticker through Our Club though.
I also have a huge stuffed toy tiger on the back seat as a constant travelling companion.
I was in my car having a Maccas meal recently when a bloke walked past the front of my car and got a fright when he noticed the tiger...we both had a laugh about it.
Finally...Robbie Farah is back with Our Club :astonished: as well as Chris Lawrence :flushed:
I guess it can only be a positive that ex Legends are back to help give Our younger players in particular, the knowledge and skills needed to take Our Club to the top again.

Hey Magpies 1963,just on the number plates,Im thinking of getting some myself in the new year..At the moment I have done a heap of work on my 1995 Commodore V6 VS ute...
The bonnet hood realease cable snapped and the mechanic told me it would cost anywhere between $300/$400 to repair,so being a little bit cluey I bought a pair of BONNET CLIPS for $ 25 and fitted them myself AND they look cool,even had people comment on how good the ute looks...

I dont recall seeing it mentioned on Our Forum, but there is a possibility I may have missed it of course, if it was mentioned.

Because that is when it was announced? I wouldn't expect that it would be in the news regularly after that?

I would have thought something as momentous as Robbie Farah taking up his Ambassadorial duties would have been announced to Wests Tigers members first though @cochise?, rather than in a lovely little country town newspaper, like the Gloucester Advocate?
I may well be wrong, but it doesnt seem Our Members have been advised officially?

Yeh, that's all fair enough, and I have no doubt now what you are saying is :100: % correct, but where is the official notification from Our Club to its members such as you and me and every member of Our Forum.

Robbie Farah's Ambassadorial duties have been a major point of discussion on Our Forum due to the $600,000 salary cap cut we were hit with.

As I said to you earlier...I feel this is a major scoop for you, as this is the first I have heard about it and I would imagine I am not the only one that has not heard about this till now.
But then again I may be a slow reader or something and just missed the official announcement, and if so I apologise for that.

G'day @mike...I didnt roll over and had no intention of doing so if Robbie Farah had anything to do with Our Club, in particular as an Ambassador.
I hadn't heard anything re that so sent my $$$ in for renewal and received my pack today.
I reckon the cap and scarf are really cool, but I would have been wrapped if the pack had a '2021 member' car sticker included. However I have Wests Tigers number plates on my car and have had for about 10 years. I may be able to purchase a sticker through Our Club though.
I also have a huge stuffed toy tiger on the back seat as a constant travelling companion.
I was in my car having a Maccas meal recently when a bloke walked past the front of my car and got a fright when he noticed the tiger...we both had a laugh about it.
Finally...Robbie Farah is back with Our Club :astonished: as well as Chris Lawrence :flushed:
I guess it can only be a positive that ex Legends are back to help give Our younger players in particular, the knowledge and skills needed to take Our Club to the top again.

Yeh, that's all fair enough, and I have no doubt now what you are saying is :100: % correct, but where is the official notification from Our Club to its members such as you and me and every member of Our Forum.

Robbie Farah's Ambassadorial duties have been a major point of discussion on Our Forum due to the $600,000 salary cap cut we were hit with.

As I said to you earlier...I feel this is a major scoop for you, as this is the first I have heard about it and I would imagine I am not the only one that has not heard about this till now.
But then again I may be a slow reader or something and just missed the official announcement, and if so I apologise for that.

I have looked for the announcement from the club but can't find it, I'm guessing they may have included it as part of another story.

I do know he has definitely taken up the role though, I think they may make it more of a coaching role but this is definitely the role related to the salary cap breach.

It's not there is a picture in the new faces at training thread as to what 400K and a 66oK cap fine buys you..

The kerfuffle also had nothing to do with accepting the offer or not,..... the fine was imposed as the NRL deemed the offer itself breached the salary cap rules

Wests Tigers apparently hold Robbie Farah in such High Esteem (and why not as he is one of Our Greatest ever players) they have produced a first ever lapel pin, featuring non other than 'Robbie Farah Legend'.

I personally, would have thought Benji Marshall would have been more entitled to have his 'Legend' status first bestowed on us, in the form of a lapel pin.
Imo he was most responsible for getting Us into and winning the 2005 G.F. and... setting Rugba League on fire around the world for a period of time.
And before I receive a torrent of comments saying Benji has been a divisive character blah blah blah and everything, I agree, he has been, right to the very end of his days with Us.

But then...some of Our Forum members, maybe many...would say Robbie Farah has been a divisive character as well.
But the people in high places that run Our Club have decided Robbie Farah Legend it is, and have sent his smiling face on a lapel pin to lucky financial members.
Then, and only then, via admittedly one of this Forum's Most Respected Administrators....we find out in what I reckon is un-officially official... Robbie Farah will not only be helping in training Our players, which I agree with, but....he will also be carrying out Ambassadorial duties.

If Wests Tigers is so proud of Robbie Farah and so confident Robbie Farah will be a great advertisement for Our Club going forward, why havent they shouted this from the roof of Wests Ashfield or the Tigers Club Homebush to all Our supporters, and then put it down on paper or email in an official Club notification to Members.

Robbie Farah was not responsible for the original '$600,000 salary cap kerfuffle' but he was the player the kerfuffle centered on, and to me the so far non announcement of his Ambassador role echo's Our Club's original stuff-up.

The hat (or should I say cap), for me, is a definite improvement on the 2020 version. I like it.

G'day @mike...I didnt roll over and had no intention of doing so if Robbie Farah had anything to do with Our Club, in particular as an Ambassador.
I hadn't heard anything re that so sent my $$$ in for renewal and received my pack today.
I reckon the cap and scarf are really cool, but I would have been wrapped if the pack had a '2021 member' car sticker included. However I have Wests Tigers number plates on my car and have had for about 10 years. I may be able to purchase a sticker through Our Club though.
I also have a huge stuffed toy tiger on the back seat as a constant travelling companion.
I was in my car having a Maccas meal recently when a bloke walked past the front of my car and got a fright when he noticed the tiger...we both had a laugh about it.
Finally...Robbie Farah is back with Our Club :astonished: as well as Chris Lawrence :flushed:
I guess it can only be a positive that ex Legends are back to help give Our younger players in particular, the knowledge and skills needed to take Our Club to the top again.

Take it from me, Farah is returning to the club as an ambassador in 2021 and will also be involved as a coaching consultant.

Farah is still waiting on having diplomatic flag poles installed on his Audi then an official announcement by the club will be made.

Yeh well......it is Robbie Farah, so if anyone is entitled to have diplomatic flagpoles installed on their Audi, it's him I guess :expressionless: .
I'm waiting excitedly for the official announcement as I reckon it will be backed up by the Queen's Own Royal Highlander Pipes and Drums Band.

With great respect to you @gallagher, I dont see how something flowing on from an incident resulting in a $600,000 salary cap hit can be swept under the carpet.
Particularly as the centre of the kerfuffle has now accepted the position the kerfuffle was all about.

Wests Tigers apparently hold Robbie Farah in such High Esteem (and why not as he is one of Our Greatest ever players) they have produced a first ever lapel pin, featuring non other than 'Robbie Farah Legend'.

I personally, would have thought Benji Marshall would have been more entitled to have his 'Legend' status first bestowed on us, in the form of a lapel pin.
Imo he was most responsible for getting Us into and winning the 2005 G.F. and... setting Rugba League on fire around the world for a period of time.
And before I receive a torrent of comments saying Benji has been a divisive character blah blah blah and everything, I agree, he has been, right to the very end of his days with Us.

But then...some of Our Forum members, maybe many...would say Robbie Farah has been a divisive character as well.
But the people in high places that run Our Club have decided Robbie Farah Legend it is, and have sent his smiling face on a lapel pin to lucky financial members.
Then, and only then, via admittedly one of this Forum's Most Respected Administrators....we find out in what I reckon is un-officially official... Robbie Farah will not only be helping in training Our players, which I agree with, but....he will also be carrying out Ambassadorial duties.

Mate, I only used the Gloucester article as you are from up that way, it was a joke. That story was published on the ch7 website and then also on the websites of all of their affiliates.
