The pleasing outcome was Tuki. We are short a good second rower and lock and he would do both very well I reckon.
I think he is going to be a very good lock in a couple of years.
He had big wraps on him, hopefully lives up to that but looks good. Definitely seems like more of a lock than a second rower which is where cowboys wanted him but with his build he seems like a middle forward. He's a massive unit
He wasn't quite as big as I was expecting, I liked the defensive work he got through and he was also strong with the ball. I also like the look of Cooper as a lock to keep an eye on down the track.
Cooper surprised me, he doesn't look like a centre but he's got good footwork/agility and put his winger into space a couple times as well. Hopefully we get to see him in NSW Cup this year or maybe even on a development deal.
I didn't know him before the game but definitely won't forget him after his efforts yesterday.
All I knew was he played centre at roosters but did well, guess there's a reason he was training with the top squad for so long.
His footwork at the line was impressive and I really liked the move he put on to put Talau through the gap who then put MCK away down the wing. We would have scored if Laurie hung onto the poor pass from MCK.
He's one of those centres who likes to set up his outside men with footwork instead of go himself and he's good at it. Why was Chee Kam even on the wing is my question ?
