17. Alex Seyfarth

Simpkin/Liddle to share the dummy half role. I'd prefer Peachey to spend 10 to 20 minutes there and have a forward on the bench but I think it's more likely they both play 40 minutes.

Twal to start at lock and Peachey to replace him after 20 minutes with Twal going to prop.

Luc can cover edge backrow and probably in the middle as well. He also gets used as an impact player.

Seyfarth is one of the first picked if I picked the team even if he is on the bench.

World's lightest/smallest bench

Depends who starts at 13. It’s it’s Peachy, then his spot on the bench can be replaced by a big prop. Or do you have a big middle player starting at 13 and Peachy on the bench. If we don’t get Api in 2022 then we will need the play both Liddle and Simpkin.
Coming off the bench, as well as muscle and punch we need speed around the ruck.

I have been surprised by the number of Tigers fans that have opted for Musgrove, I just don't see it. He came to us as a fringe first grader more known for his on field discipline issues and off field brushes with the law. Since he has been with us, the only thing he has shown is that he is very good a giving away silly penalties and slow line defence, I still don't see him as a first grader.

Man hasn't been able to string a lot of games together. I am willing to back him this year.

A lot of things to work on he should be starting in reserves to earn his spot. Done nothing in firsts.

The all stars game showed what he’s capable of, then injury, it happens, hopefully ‘22 is his year?

Come on the all stars game isn't evidence of form players, he was partnered up with Packer, Isaac Luke, Benji and his brother. But that game also reinforces my argument about the lack of on field discipline when he copped a two game suspension for a shoulder charge.
I'm a Tigers supporter and I don't mean to sound like I'm "death riding" him, I honestly hope he proves me wrong, but I just don't see a first grader, I don't see why people rate him and I certainly don't see 400K of value.

I think peach may play centre to start the year and then migrate to 14 when Doueihi comes back. They might start Doueihi in centres to get some more match fitness and then after that, who knows. Musgrove, Seyfarth and Joffa also on the bench.

I wonder if Doueihi will come back in the 14 role. He would be dangerous coming on mid half

He'll be back after a long lay off, maybe first couple of games off the bench until his match fitness is up to par but I don't see it as a long term idea

Every bench must include two frontrowers and go from there.

for me, I really hope I see Kelma and Seyfarth in the starting 13, if not on the bench. both are a step above cup and offer a point of difference coming off the pine. knowing Madge he's going to fill it with a hooker and Joffa, but I feel like those two are very important for us.

Building for 2023.
I like it.

I was think9ng.
What if Peachy goes into the Centers with Roberts while oliver Gildart goes 14th?

Yes this means the three other Benchies have to carry the forward load.

But Oliver G's weakness is going to be physicality.

So start him on the Bench and not in the Centers where we already leak.

I’m happy for a back-up hooker and a utility on the bench. Not a centre though. The bench is to cover the positions that are most taxing as well as injury. A centre should be able to play 80 minutes. 80 minutes Hookers are very rare, as are 80 middle forwards.
Peachy can cover so many positions but with the speed of the game in 2021 I think we need a utility, hooker and two middles forwards on the bench.

IMO you can’t hide players at second row or centre. Teams practice isolating defenders in those spots relentlessly and they are our weakest spots. It’s why next year is going to be an uphill sled.
