Agree- I don't understand why teams continue to hire coaches that got sacked from their previous job. I know it works sometimes but more often that not it just ends up with them being sacked again.
In the industry I am in if you got sacked from your previous job you would struggle to get employed again - if you are an NRL coach you are half a chance of getting hired when the next coach gets boned
He's had more than 3 seasons and he's progressively getting worse. He needs to be gone today

This is why I wouldn't sack him. I wouldn't renew his contract though. We've had enough.

For those who want John Morris, why were the Sharks so keen to replace him and sacrifice last season?
I have no idea if he has it or not, but seems like an odd decision for a high potential coach?

The issue with the club is the players.
Madge needs to sort out the playing roster. There should be no re-signings this year.
There are no players at the club worth keeping.
If we do have some kind of war-chest, as apparently we struggle to spend the entire cap (cause nobody wants to come here, which makes perfect sense).
Then madge has to be enough of a drawcard to attract real talent, and if he's not, then he what exactly is he for?

Wests Tigers boss Tim Sheens has backed his under siege coach Michael Maguire to keep his job despite a poor start to the season.
In the aftermath of Sunday’s humiliating 26-4 loss to an understrength Newcastle, Sheens has returned serve on the critics calling for Maguire to be sacked.
