Weird list. Names only 17 players as NRL Players, obviously in some sort of team order. I wonder if it is an early indication of the trial squad.

It's always been like that, they only merge into one side when it hits Flegg.

I wish we could roll back the clock a few years when it was called reserve grade and they played the curtain raiser. That way we could follow our up and comers.
I remember the days when we used to watch Jersey Flegg, Reserve Grade then Firsts, on the same day.
I think there was an U23's side too wasn't there? Maybe reserves replaced U23.
It certainly was an all day affair at Leichhardt Oval, kids playing touch footy on the grass. Mum and dad claimed a patch of grass with a rug which was good up until the hill packed out.
If you live interstate like I do, one has to rely on you guys for info because you can't watch the young players and form your own opinions.
I can't understand the logic, wouldn't they make more money having more games, logistically wouldn't it be easier on clubs, especially during COVID, ???
Having said that, the list of all the players depth wise is promising.
Please keep up the good work guys and gals and spread the news.
 
I always like the extended squads playing in the trials the see the NSW cup guys in the mix with 1st graders

It would be purely to keep the flag flying and to reg recognise the youth in the district if Wests and Balmain don't look after them there would be plenty of other districts that would swallow them up

No just my opinion that he should be co-captain when Tamou is off the field.
