2023 NRL Finals General Discussion thread *Spoilers*

I have $10- on Panthers at 100/1 to win the grand final with betr bet. Just got a cash out offer of $400-. What are your thoughts guys.
Penrith should be too good, ultimately Walters coaching will come unstuck and Walsh is due a poor game without him on fire like he was and has been penrith be fine

I'd let it ride mate if it was paying out $600-700 I'd think about cashing out. Broncos look good but Panthers are experienced in the big games.

I get anyone would look good next to Cleary but Cogger’s pass selection / decision making for a rookie is excellent

Did we atleast offer him something?

Not a rookie, just a reserve grader/back-up.

26 years old, played over 50 NRL games.

Vid ref: "Based on the avialble angles. Blah blah"

They showed two different replays

Yet when it suits them they say they have many more monitors and cameras than the broadcasters

Watching it live it was obvious Martin touched it first, that was my instinct. IMO the replays proved that. Terrible call by Gee. I have always maintained the bias is not deliberate, but 2023 has me questioning that. I'm starting to think the ref's do deliberately favour the team expected to win as that helps escape criticism.

What makes me p----ssed off is seeing the absolute joy from the Penrith fans and feeling the misery and despair that the WT fans have to endure week after week .Then we have our executive management talking about how we've turned the corner . If you are continuously turning corners you are actually going in circles .Our Forum shows we are a tough bunch sticking no matter what . Lee and Justin your fans deserve to get a bit of the joy those Panthers fans get week after week

I saw a shot of their crowd packed into the eastern stand
We will never have that semi final action
Never
We wouldn't play at home... We'd take the money

Nice Shags.
Hold firm for now if you reckon they win this weekend bcoz the offer will probably rise and you have the extra week for them to make you a new offer and if the storm get beat again you’re sitting pretty.
Although your next game could be against storm or roosters. I’m going off memory there, but I would be sussing the draw out and making a decision then.
Still you’re looking good.
What do reckon @Halbrowne61 ?

More importantly how the hell did you get 100/1 for panfers? I would’ve been all over that and more.
Betr Bet had an intro offer when they kicked off last year. Offered 100/1 with max $10 bet on 5 events. Cleaned up on two of them. Panthers game is the last one.

Pauga playing finals footy bloody hell, didnt know the rules for a short kick off or drop out can't recall which it was.
He's a good player always remembered for one incident

Do our coaches just assume players know these vague rare rules?

Look up "coach" in the dictionary
