I'm a 25 year member next year that the club refuses to recognise because they have lost the data for members before 2007.

The media should get hold of that it is unreal

I'm in the same boat - no apparent proof of my family's multiple membershipa.

IDK but can't there be some formal type of data recovery tool used to fix the lost records?

They told me that I needed to prove that I was a member in 2000
