If Tommy Turbo was available Teddy would still be lining up for the Roosters today.
He is literally 2nd backup for NSW fullback in Madge's era - but will be hard to leave out if NSW win game 1!

You are probably right.NSW has this strange obsession with Turbo.
For mine Ted is the far better all rounder and he causes concern.

Turbo and Latrell ripped Qld a new one in Perth.
If not for injury Tom would be a generational talent.
Ted is still highly questionable in defence - and is a downhill skier who shirks effort plays when his team isn't dominant!

There's hope for NSW.
There's a push on up here for North Queensland to become a separate state.

I don't think we will lose much by replacing Edwards with Teddy. Especially now that Teddy has a bigger point to prove.

Api needs a break and is not a full 80 player these days. Teams we play bash him.
He misses twice the number of tackles that Robson does and Robson nails twice the number of tackles he does.
Madge has picked a side to win and the only sentiment involved may be the connection he has with players he had a hand in grading.

Tom is a good attacker and thats it.
Very one dimensional and much like Latrell.
Can be great on their days, can be very shit as well.

Thats one way of looking at it. When I look at the 6 debutants, I don't see a single one that doesn't deserve his spot, with the exclusion of maybe Nicho? Not sure how he will handle it? We didn't have a problem keeping him quiet and we're a spoon side.
The single most important thing I would want from a coach is to know his players know their strengths and weaknesses.

I don't rate Nicho the way other's do and it goes back to a Bellamy interview and how Nicho takes the wrong decisions Under pressure Bellamy said he was working on that with Nicho and I don't think its changed he cracks under pressure

Think he has a long affiliation with Api from Souths days and was one of the reasons Api moved to WT as well from memory.
I think he's just picked the team he thought had the least amount of defensive lapses. Origin I usually is a very low scoring affair.

What a load of BS!!
The ONE year we made 9th with Tedesco in the team was 2016 - and he was hardly a lone wolf in a squad that included Farah - Moses - Woods - Brooks - Simona - Halatau - Rowdy - Addo-Carr etc!

When his side is not winning - he stops making effort plays in defence!! FACT!

What are you on about. Brooks and Moses were early in their careers and still had everything to prove. He carried the team, as did Farah.
