I don't disagree with the Moses selection - but he is in a team running terribly AND is short of a run but gets picked. So what exactly is the reason for Api's omission?

I'm a bit surprised that the NRL hasn't thought of this concept for Origin :

One player from each of the 17 teams must be picked for NSW team and Qld team.

When this has been done then NSW & Qld can pick as many players as they want from a single team if need be.

Don't like the Qld side still .....we lack size and grunt in the middle

The punter in me likes the $5 on offer for a NSW series win

The Qlder in me won't let me ....

NSW have really written the Game 1 side off .....the fact they were still in the game with 15 to go .....a lot of fans wrote them off

I would play Latrell in Origin even if his club form is no good.
He has that extra piece that you need at this level…an arrogant arseholeness that says “you’re not going to beat me”.
He could win NSW the game or lose it for us. I’m not sure which is more likely.

So how many of these U19 Origin players go onto play NRL?

Last year Strange and the Fainu boys played as well as Feledy i think, thats off the top of my head so 4 from last year already there's prob more. I have no idea if we have any young bucks in there this year though. I think Chis Fagutu played for QLD too but obviously yet to make an NRL debut.
