2026 squad - still not good enough

That team of champions ,needs to stand up ,this year or next ,plenty of room for improvement
Basics of the game like tackling comes down to coaching and willing to dig in

Life is about digging in not being a soft kock you won't always win but you have to turn up

You spelt 14 Wrong

14....... In the last 2 years!!
(Maybe you're confused with Reserve Grade Games?)
At 25 years Old.
With Panther Royalty for a Dad AND Uncle
- In the best side over the last 5/6 years

I'm obviously missing something, What do you know that I don't?
could be the kick up the backside he needs, punted from Riff

Probably
He’s decent depth… we have two 80 min starter backrowers, realistically there’s only room for maybe a bench spot and he has NRL experience, from a good defensive system & a young age. If he does a job off the bench good it’s a 1 year contract lol

I see it as a stop gap for Godinet & Robert’s to develop and possibly replace him afterwards.

What's and where is this depth everyone keeps talking about?

Our best prospect in the Back Row (Behind the 2 Starters) hasn't even played in the NRL.
That's not depth, That's potential.
Depth is guys who can actually do it at a high level, And we have 2 of those (So far)
Sorry I meant to write I don't DISagree with your assessment but this is the best depth in a decade.
Yes we've only 2 proven first grade quality back rowers. But at least we have 2 of them now. Plus a guy who probably isn't quite up to standard but has on the odd occasion played well there in the past and a couple young blokes with potential.
In the past decade we've had maybe one decent back rower and some young blokes who never looked likely to reach first grade. So this is the best we've had in a decade.

Yeah, Although that's the last option...

If there's no room in the 17 to get him on at some point to play Lock,
Then he shouldn't be in the 17.
He might start at 13, Who Knows....

I just don't think he's really NRL level at a Prop or Second Rower.
If he can't be in the middle to work behind 2 Decent Props as a Lock with some
footwork and Ball movement inside the 80
- Put him in Ressies to do it until he can be is what I'm saying.

Mate he is easily our best go forward carrier in the middle with his size, mobility and footwork. His potential is untapped. If he is working hard and has his head on, he will be our best forward by the end of 2026. In fact, I'd say it won't even be close. Best middle anyway.

Needs to ply his trade in reserve grade and harden up injury wise , great prospect yes , ready to go now for me NO , AD is the one I run with and I couldn’t find a spot on bench yet for Latu , that could change in a few rounds though
I don’t get some on here about players been injured all the time , players don’t go out there to get injured, but it’s a contact sport , maybe it’s the medical team

Developing don’t work out so well here usually - I’m not against it, we’re always hanging our hat on it and convincing ourselves when they all come on we’ll be golden. It just never happens, I’m over it.
I want 24 NRL players fighting for the 17 spots and any potential biding their time in behind them.
