2026 Wests Tigers Injuries

The dragons are the only team I would be confident of beating while we have basically our spine and best backrower in rehab. Getting Api and Bula back will help in a couple of weeks. There will be effort but no team in the comp can be competitive with the majority of their spine on the sidelines. Under the salary cap it’s impossible to carry NRL standard coverage for your whole spine
The Dragons would beat that tigers team yesterday undoubtedly

We were spared injuries last year until we started really hitting our straps after our mid year slump. this year we were playing really well and it all collapsed with 5 of our top players out. I wonder if you can correlate the occurrence of injury and performance metrics of a team/individuals...in simple terms, do injuries increase based on players actually making an effort and putting their body on the line which translates to success of the team and more specifically higher output and better quality metrics for an individual. Look at the injuries we have copped...mostly our top performers...Hope, Mason, Luke, Herbert etc.. getting through games unscathed....and before anyone mentions Toa...he is an aberration I would exclude HIA's as they could just relate to poor technique/bad luck.

Is there a reason why we do not have an outcome on the extent of Taylan May’s shoulder injury now being more than a week since the game ?

There is probably a decision that needs to be taken regarding an operation, could mean out for the season, or rehab again and try and come back in a few weeks. Other thing i have seen is player goes under the knife and the success of the surgery will dictate potential recovery time.....maybe the club is just being cautious.
