There just isn't a lot available these days and with the new teams coming in, it isn't going to be easy.

said it bwfore, say it again.... we gotta rely on the Benji drawcard & utilise some family connections.

New recruits;

1. Jeremy Marshall-King, coming to help his brother out. Good #14, give Api a rest or fill in @ lock. Under contract but in this fantasy he gets a release on compassionate grounds to come be around his family.

2. Izaak Tago, he's the centre & Makasini remains on the wing outside him. He'd cost a bit but he's better than a lot of the players we've used this year. He's on contract but there was talk a while back, he's free to have a look around. Penrith likely prioritising Jenkins and the McClean brothers.

3. Michael Gabrael, next big thing centre at the sharks - his brother is here playing cup. Get them both on board, long term.

4. Suli Pole, front rower beast at the storm. Re unite him with his brother, let's see how he goes.

5. Tyrone May, depth player, good back up, covers multiple positions. His brothers are here long term, I think this has already been discussed and could be an option.

Some cup / depth signings:
1. Jordan Hill - fast winger, always around the players, may as well get him more involved.

2. Logan Deinninger, think he gets upgraded and we put a lot of time into this kid.

3. Danny Gabrael, cup centre. Had high praises coming through, time to live up to expectations

4. Jake Tago, back up outside back, re unite with his brother and cousins, THE MAYS, try and get the best out of him

You can’t just “release” players like it’s a video game. At best, you can give them permission to talk to other clubs. With Luai, who is going to want to pick him for a year and on his salary? It just wouldn’t be in the plans at all to let him go for 27. Any suggestion otherwise is based off emotion given the last few weeks. As for To’a, it’s possible the club might give him permission, but again, who’s going to take him? Reminds me of when people used to complain about Nofoaluma and how he wasn’t first grade material, yet expected another club would take him off us. You can’t bag a player like that, then be shocked when no other clubs are interested in said player. And To’a is injured, which definitely isn’t helping his cause atm.
