20's-Team Announcement: Round 11 v Knights..

Ray Stone…booooooooooooooooom........

Roberts has also been good...

WT 30-26...

Close game.

Good win.

Stone & Giles were standouts for mine
Liddle is the goods.

Gutsy effort with 15 men in the 2nd 40….

Wests Tigers steal it 32-28...

Great Team Effort..

Coffee Time..

I liked the way that Obed Karwin, finished the game.
Struggled with an ankle injury latter part of second half.

First time I've watched Jacob liddle play he was really good. Stone was great as well. Paseka is massive

Thoughts on Giles?
Looks like a hybrid/smaller Woods to me.

Was he the one with dreadlocks playing out wide? If so I thought he went well except for a few errors

Good to get away with the win in the end. Knights had all the momentum in the second half.

Take Daniel Peck off Please…

He was killing us, don't know why he is there Liddle played the full 80.

I went to the previous game and we were down by 16 or more when Liddle was off the field. He came back on and tore the Knights apart and we got away with a draw. Not sure why they are blooding the new guy….maybe they want to give him experience as they are looking to move Liddle up a grade shortly...

Without Jacobs, Mapesone, Felise, Tatola, Marsters, Sironen…

Paseka and DeFiddes went off early.

Still won. Solid solid side.

He looked really good hitting the ball up. He's going to make a really good back rower in the future. Very powerful. A future NRL player if his off-field attitude improves

was a very good game to watch, how the game changed when the coach put the second rower out on the wing and moved the 5/8 to centre. we also lost a lot with paseka going off, gee he looks the goods, there is so much talent in that side also all the ones who played nsw cup.

Wow, really enjoyed watching that game on FOX. Some real promise there. Typical Tigers team when leading 26-0 though. If you didn't know better, you'd think someone was trying to sabotage the victory. There's a few kids in there that went well.

Knights team are no mugs as their position on table reflects that. They always had a comeback in them once the possession swing took effect.
So was happy with what I saw and the overall win.
NSW cup win however, although good, was against a very poor performing side which are currently running last.

It was a lucky performance in the end by the boys. They were coasting at 26-0 after 30 mins and then the entire team switched off thinking the game was won. The entire team made a lot of dreadful mistakes over the last 50 mins and were very lucky to get away with the win. The Knights fullback could have possibly scored himself in the last few mins when they were up by 2 but threw a silly pass which we were able to dive on.

Playing 60 mins with 15 men isn't easy though and our pack was down to bare bones but managed to just hang on. Without our 5 standout forwards it was always going to be a tough ask for the backups, but then the Knights were in the same exact situation with call-ups to higher grades decimating their NYC side so they had a lot of reshuffling as well. So no excuses about players missing, mid-game injuries are challenging though.

It was the repeated brain snaps by Stone, Peck, Sharpe, the marker penalties and just the whole team attitude in general which should have lost us the game. No surprise to be getting smashed when you cough up 80% possession.

Despite his errors Stone still toiled hard as he always does. The smallest prop i've ever seen (despite clueless commentators going on about 'big ray stone' all the time!) but he's all effort and heart as always and had good stats. Was just guilty of trying to do too much at times with offloads etc.

Roberts looked good once again and you'd have to think that he'll keep the 5/8 spot now after several good performances this season and Mapesone moving up to nsw cup.

Was the strongest Karwhin's ran onto the ball so far. Some very promising runs, just needs to work on his work rate and ability to make multiple hitups.

Papenhuyzen was good and i'd like to see him stay at fullback although Sharpe might be too small to play wing. Might have to rotate them still for a bit longer.

Still well done to the boys for not giving up despite being overtaken in the last few mins after having such a big lead.
