Brooks calf is becoming really problematic .....wondering what other's thoughts are ??

He missed the last 7 weeks because of his calf and 5-6 weeks the previous season

I think if he doesn't kill it this season we don't offer him a contract or better put we offer him a low dollar value contract. Time will tell.

Brooks is a first grader but just not a dominant halfback and his contract should reflect that

Remember that muck around video about December...voices in backround claiming is injury was pretty bad and the club hosed that down quick saying hes OK
Missing half a season in 2 years isn't great reliability ...I'm not bagging Brooks because he puts in every week .........buttttt......

What are you thinking ?
Oddly enough in his last interview Brooks said he was perfectly fine and running freely.
Can’t see why they wouldn’t give him even a short hit out before the first round.
If, for whatever reason, he misses a big chunk of the season then Sheens will look like a real goose for releasing our 2 other halfbacks…. both of whom are much better than Wakeham.

Look at the spines and the forwards in the top 8 sides, When coaching against them, you have to contend with 4 top class spine players, and a tough forward pack, Your defensive patterns are stretched all game.
Now when a coach plans his defence against the Tigers, who would they most be concerned about, ?
Very few, but i think if you asked all coaches, Brooks would be the one who would trouble them the most.
This is why it is hard to judge his performances. Take Cleary out of Penrith and put in Brooks and he would look far better then he does at the Tigers, I'm not saying he is anywhere near that good, but with this pack and Api to take the pressure off , then we can make a fair assessment.
