2nd Team to Support for 2023

Dolphins for sure, haven't developed a distaste of them over many years. At this stage they may get my full support if I see another performance like Sunday against the Dogs

I think that’s pretty obvious.
The NRL are not with us.
The other clubs are not with us.
All I want is for my club, the Wests Tigers, to smash everyone all the time.
But I do watch origin and other big games.
What about you Tucker, are you an NRL fan first or a Tigers fan first?
Do you support one of these second teams?
 
Can't honestly support any other NRL team. Dislike some more than others. Don't care about Origin because its full of players that come from teams that aren't wests. Same for internationals / WC's. Will watch but not vested like any regular season WT game.

If / when Wests are punted Ill just watch random NRL games and spend my money on the AFL ( Go Pies).
 
If I had to pick a second team, I'd be happy to see any of the western Sydney sides do well (Bulldogs, Eels, Penrith).

I agree Spurs are amazingly Tigers-like. When I started following them I was impressed that they were always near enough to the top and not involved in relegation talk. Then after a while the 6ths and 8ths don't cut it any more, and Spurs are "failures" even though they finish 6th or better most years and regularly play Champions League.

So "not having a trophy" has become such a big thing for Spurs, people are fixated on it and rival clubs harrass Spurs fans about it, and Spurs continue to be just competitive enough to get close, but never actually win anything.

100% a fan of the game before the club.
The club was one that I chose 40 years ago so I had some sort of ownership within the game.
I do not live in any of the clubs catchment areas. I do not know any of the players. It was pure dumb luck that I chose The Balmain Tigers to follow back when I was 7 and Im pretty sure that was only because of the colours and mascot. At the time, all my freinds chose the popular sides such as Parra and Canterbury. I could have very easily followed suit if not for some success in the following years.

So no, I dont have the us v them mentality. The game is far more important to me than the club and it really upsets me that my club is such an embarrassment to the code. Its the laughing stock of its peers and a joke used by the media to make money.

Yes I support another team. The Cowboys are my local. People who played for clubs I have watched over the years in junior and park levels are now running around in the top grade. I own more merchandise for them than the Tigers. I go to more live games for them than the Tigers by far. If Wests Tigers were kicked out of the comp tomorrow morning, I would not care less. Probably be a Cowboys member by Friday arvo to be honest.

I wont walk away from this club as I have invested 40 years into it, being an out of town member for many years. My sanity is intact as I have a good club that I follow just as closely. Thats because the game is far more important to me that this club.

No way, the Tigers or nothing rugby league related.
I would just follow other sports like UFC (Volkanovski, Makhachev), box (Usyk, Joyce), NBA (GSW), NFL (Patriots), tennis, world soccer e.g. Real Madrid,
