3-2-1 3 2 1 vs Dolphins

Bird is the unsung hero. Nobody thought much of his signing. Broken, slow and was only a matter of time before he would have a stint on the sidelines again

His impact off the bench along with Hunt has swung both games enormously, and his value of filling in at centre when Skelton went off was big for us

Being on the sideline during the warm up and no security was pretty cool. Galvin looked very very nervous - just a teenager - but clearly just itching to get on. Royce and Sione in the last pads hit up were smashing each other. Laui and Tito were rallying the group especially Tito directing Galvin - calming nerves. Heinho had a chat, main trainer said hi, so did Dwyer. The ‘box girl’ is good value too.

Not all birthday presents are wrapped!! 😉
So happy last night turned out as it did, the memories will go on ........

Speaking of Avo.

AD was all over Averillo tonight.
Forced two knocks on.
Well played
I’ve only watched 15 min highlights but could not believe the Dolphins switched Centres and Doueihi wasn’t marking Farnworth,
What I have seen To’a hands in the first try was very good and also good in Turuva’s 2nd try.
A Happy team at the moment no changes needed unless forced by injury.

hard to gauge what's doing with him ,2nd year syndrome? Last week they shot out a stat Samuela took his 1st hit up in 34 minutes of the game /1st half
Don't think 2nd year syndrome so much as new combos. He'll find his rhythm. Has still shown a couple of classy touches at times. Was a great move v Parra when he popped up on the right and put a move on to send Turuva in. Just hope injury not too bad.

A week or two off might be what he needs. I think Sione played really well yesterday and is clearly part of the main pack group. Sam had some really good touches. Jusy doesn’t seem himself atm

3. Pole
2. Sione
1. TDS

Big mention to AD as well, great goal kicking game and, hard to believe, defense.

1. Api, just rock solid. I see how he sets up Luai and Galvin
2. Turuva for those finishing touches.
3. Seyfarth, guy can carry the work of a prop and still threaten the try line.

Everyone talks halves and rightly so. Just see the difference having Skelton and Turuva here. It means you actually have finishers and the work the halves do doesn't go wasted. Plus Toa/AD are putting in way above their efforts from last year (AD seemed to improve 2024, then got busted...So maybe he was on the way up).
